Illusions Dance Club

Illusions has made some changes since my last review. They are no longer open on Wednesdays. Karaoke Night is now on Thursdays with JT. Friday and Saturday Nights feature line-dance lessons beginning at 7PM with DJ Aric "911". Although they now play mostly Country now DJ Aric still mixes it up after lessons are done. Drink specials, Water Pong, Darts, Pool Tables, a mechanical bull, and awesome food. New food items have been added.

Everyone here is very friendly and open - I have come here alone several times and someone always starts a conversation, so it's like I didn't come alone at all! The bartenders are sweet and generous with their pours. The whole place is super welcoming and friendly, and unlike most other dance clubs I've visited, at Illusions you routinely see a mix of ages, styles, and abilities (the dance floor is wheelchair friendly) all hanging out. Furthermore they have food - I recommend the potato skins - and live music.

Line dancing is not limited strictly to country music. You can come to Illusions and line dance to all kinds of music, including hip hop and rap.
