The Irish Frog

This place is about as Irish as the guy at the corner gas station. What a shame, I had high hopes, but only found typical bar food. Nothing special

This is my hang out in Clinton,  the food is good but I go mostly for the live music and camaraderie. They have karaoke on Mondays and kids karaoke on Tuesdays. It's a nice little hidden gem.

We celebrated a family birthday at the Irish Frog and it's no easy task taking care of our large group (a small herd would be more like it)!  I'd say the food was average....but they did manage to bring out the entire group's food at once, which gets my applause.  

The fried dill pickles...were good.  The Scampi ...uhmmm...okay.  I did taste the Shrimp and grits...very good.  The chicken sandwich was a huge portion and tasted good.  The filet mignon...taste-wise very good.....but wasn't cooked to order (ordered medium ...cooked well-done).   Still a good effort for such a large group.  Our waitress was awesome and very fun...and took us in stride with a great attitude!
