Suck The Shuck Tamales

I was so excited to see a tamale place open up in Clinton!  Suck the Shuck Tamales operates in the Shell station on Clinton Boulevard right across the street from N'awlins Grill.  An older couple operates the establishment, and while it is new to Clinton, they have been shucking and selling tamales for a long time.  The lady that helped me was super sweet.

The tamales are Mississippi Delta style (which I am never quite sure what that means), and they are very flavorful.  The only drawback that I found was that the filling was slightly gritty in texture.  That was a little off-putting, but I am willing to give them a couple of more tries before I make a final judgement.
