Newk's Express Café

I like Newk's. I don't love it. It's a chain.  I have nothing against chains. I ate most recently last Friday, January 4, 2013. I had the tomato basil soup. Now, I loved that soup. It was absolutely fantastic and I could have made a meal just out of the soup. I also like the roasted garlic and bread sticks as well as the Splenda sweet tea.  However, most of what I've gotten at Newks is just ok. However, I have gotten soup that if not eaten quickly enough, turns very watery and I find that off putting and frankly weird.

I love coming here.  My wife and I usually get the half sandwich and bowl of soup deal.  The service has always been good, and the food fresh and fast.
