  I've been to the "IT" twice now for dinner and drinks.  Their food was surprisingly delish!  On my first visit I ordered the Chicken Pita Wrap and that was absolutely perfect and their fries were right on!  The second time I was there I had the Tavern Toss Salad with their chicken tenders and it was very tasty.
  
  My only gripe about this place is on my 2nd visit their our waitress was not very nice actually she was borderline kind of rude.  She seemed like she was having a bad day.  When placing my food order I had difficulty deciding which salad to get and she seemed agitated by me.  Then when we got our bill we nicely asked her to split the bill for us and she very bluntly crumpled up our bill and walked away without saying anything.
  
  Even though I had that one bad experience, it will not stop us from returning again for their yummy chicken tenders!

  Yea i know five star for a cinder block bar? But wait here is how I a came up with the five star rating.
  
  1. Selection: (5 star) Great Irish whiskey selection and great beer selection with great prices (Wednesday is 3$ Irish beer day )
  2. Food: (4 star) Great burgers and unique Irish theme food perfectly prepared (my burger was medium rare my buddy's was medium exactly the way we ordered) The huge burger was so good we almost got a second. Sundays they run a smoker with different foods every week (ribs, smoked meatloaf) with great prices.
  3. Cleanliness(5 stars) The Kitchen was spotless 'nuff said
  4. Pricing: (5 star) daily specials for 5.99 (Wednesday is burger day)
  5. Service: (4 star) I took of 1 star off for the fact i was ignored until I bellied up to the bar service was great after that.
  
  I love a place that exceeds expectations. IT did just that, I expected a local dive bar and got well prepared quality food and a knowledgeable friendly staff all for a great price. I plan to dig deeper into their menu and their beer selection.
  
  P.S. their wine selection is horrible but if you go to a Irish Tavern for wine Shame on You.

  i had never been here before until they did their 'remodel' and changed it from looking like a prison into a real bar!
  
  i have been coming here a few times a year on random occasions but lately i have become a bit of a regular when i stop in for a pre-bowling league beer with my team.
  
  the bartenders and waitstaff are very nice and attentive, even on busy nights. the bathroom is clean.
  
  i think there used to be a pool table and a foosball table here, but now they only have darts and video games.
  
  there are always drink and food specials, just check the chalk board. also, ask the bartenders what shots are good and if you are looking for something special, just ask. they are a wiz with the awesome shot combos.
  
  the food is good too. i really like the deep fried green beans. yum!

  I've been meaning to go to "The it" for awhile now but finally got the opportunity and was pleasantly surprised.
  
  From the outside it looks like your standard dive type bar. On the inside, however, it actually does have an Irish vibe. The staff was very friendly, food was excellent and I definitely took note of the cleanliness of the kitchen. From my vantage point it looked spotless!!
  
  I only wish it was closer to home. Trekking from Waterford to Ferndale isn't a great idea after a couple or seven beers.
