The Irishman Pub is a nice little restaurant in the heart of Williamsville.  This place is beautifully decorated and has all the charm of a pub in the Irish countryside. We've been here many times for Saturday or Sunday brunch. Their menu for brunch is terrific. My personal favorite is the corned beef hash skillet. The hash is homemade with a sauce that has a bit of a kick to it. I also recommend the eggs benedict. Also during brunch are traditional Irish sessions. If you're not familiar, sessions are an informal gathering of people leisurely playing traditional Irish music.  The music is played at a low volume level which keeps the experience enjoyable.  One note -- I've never been here for dinner so I cannot speak for how this place is at night.

I got the fish and chips, french fries were soggy but the fish was good and the size of a cat. Nice atmosphere and I like the giant wine glasses. My friend destroyed his Reuben.

I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the French onion soup I had here was great.... Otherwise, I will not be returning here for dinner, ever!

We were looking forward to sitting on the patio, but because of a sudden downpour, had to sit inside. Based on a previous trip here, I knew none of us were going to be able to hear each other, or anything else above the noisiness of this place. It wasn't even very crowded, but we had to yell at each other just to talk! And hey, my mom and sister and I are Italian but that's even too much for us! Our waiter was very nice and friendly, but he stated he had a hearing problem...go figure! Must be a job hazard there. Incidentally, I was the only one at our table who even heard him say this!

The parking "lot" is ridiculous. I know the restaurant is situated in a very crowded place on Main Street, but there are like 8 spots, and a bunch were handicap!

Not a single one of us enjoyed our meals. After reading some other reviews, I'd have to say we should have just ordered pub food. I had the special- supposedly filet (not even close) ordered medium rare, served well done (must be that pesky hearing problem!) with horrible puffy, overdone plain couscous on the side with only a sprinkling of paprika over it. For $25...I could have died. I have to find a positive though, and mention again how great the onion soup was. Thank god I had that. Because I'm not a drinker, I have to count on decent tasting soda, and let me just say, I don't know if something was wrong with the dispenser, or if they're just too concerned with their Jamison and Guinness, but the diet Pepsi tasted like fizzy bug spray-- YUCK! I know, I know, some people would say that's what you get for ordering a soda in an Irish pub, but come on! Not all of us can drink like its St. Patty's Day...unless you wanna post my bail. Haha!

I probably will hang on the patio here during old home days, since that's where my friends tend to come after the beer tent closes, but that's about the only way I'm returning to the Irishman
