Billy Baroo's Biergarten

The only reason we ate here was because we were at the Wherle Golf Dome and were pretty hungry after hitting balls for an hour. There was a decent amount of people inside (mostly at the bar). I saw this as a sign that there would be at least some decent food and service. I was wrong.

I'll start by saying that some of the food was decent..but that's the only reason I'm giving it a generous 2 star rating. Our server got most of our order wrong or mixed up. I asked for water without ice and I got water with extra ice. My boyfriend ordered a beer and didn't get it for about 20 minutes, when the server very obviously appeared as if she forgot. We ordered a simple chips and sals appetizer. You'd think this would be something that would get to the table within minutes, but it didn't. It almost seemed as if it was also forgotten. The soups came out, but still no appetizer. Then the server told us that the kitchen ran out of of the register type paper that the orders print out on. This was more of an excuse than a fact because right after mentioning that our main dishes came out slowly one by one. So it was obvious that they got our order and that she just forgot to put in our chips appetizer. Most restaurants will bring all the main dishes out together, or even one by one sometimes but quickly. Finally after all the dishes arrived, the chips and salsa finally emerged from the kitchen.

I will say that everyone was satisfied with their food, but when the service is that bad with only a few tables to serve, the food won't matter and people wont want to come back. I'll definitely be back at the golf dome, but I'll definitely be driving elsewhere to eat after.
