Normally, the way restaurants work is: you arrive, someone sits you down, then a waiter attends to you. At bar Louie, they do things a little different in that they just ignore you for a half hour to see if you pass the cooltest, then slowly serve you the rest of the night. $1 burger night is a trap; it's still cheaper than usual but if you think you're only gonna spend a few bucks, you are incorrect. Burger quality is ok.
Review Source:Encountered the rudest, "douchiest" bartender ever there a couple weeks ago. Me and my friend showed up hoping to drink some martinis/brews and watch a hockey game. We sit down, and the mean mugged bartender immediately tells us that "It's going to be 20m wait for any food". Um ok, thanks for letting me know bro. Doesn't ask us if we want to order any drinks, no greeting. We then ask him if he can turn the hockey game on one of the tv's. This is Buffalo, the hockey game not being on one of the 6 TV's is a fail in of itself. Â He just says "No, whatever is on the TV's is staying on, i'm way too busy". Seriously? In the time that he basically told us to f off, he could have changed the channel. It takes 5 seconds.
Since this guy was being extremely rude and unfriendly, we just left. I haven't been back since.
