Islands Restaurant

Islands is a great place to grab a bite for a quick and good meal. This location gets crowded on the weekend nights so I recomend getting there early.

I had the new mini sliders which were delicious (Plus extra pickles as always). We also ordered the cheese fries with no scallions. They are a great appetizer, you must get them with the ranch dressing (so good you could drink it).

Lastly we had the desert brownie with ice cream which was yummy, only I wish they added a little more ice cream. I would recommend islands to anyone who likes, burgers and fries, and doesn't mind the calories.

After Van #1's first leg at Ragnar So Cal, we were ready to enjoy a nice meal away from the Van. We all agreed on Islands Restaurant. Being from Phoenix, I had never heard of this Chain but I was quickly sold when I realized that Chips and Salsa were on the Appetizer list. A huge basket arrived and shared with my teammates. I decided on a small side salad with TONS of Blue Cheese dressing. I love when I don't have to ask for more dressing.

The various entrees at the table looked great but I wasn't quite ready for a big meal. I would definitely consider this chain of restaurants while in Cali. I'll have to check and see if there are any here in the Phoenix, AZ area. Cheers!

Since I gave up my " Bad Habit " burgers, I have been spending my money here more and more. The burgers are thick, many options and ingredients to choose from. I like sitting in the bar area even though I dont drink. The service is outstanding. The large flat screen tv's are nice to watch too. The prices are comparable to the " bad habit " also. Much more relaxed and comfortable seating areas than competing burger establishments.
