Sammy's Bar & Grill

Came back one tuesday night to find their taco tuesday menu. The taco's were delicious. I know its something small to comment about but the tortilla and the way they grilled it was perfect. The nachos were delicious and filling. The margarita's on the tuesday menu were...ehh. Sometimes it would come out too strong and at times you cant even taste the alcohol. So far my experience with the drinks here are that they are very inconsistent cheap margaritas or not.

Regular drink prices are a little steep and they can be inconsistent but none the less I'll be coming back for the food.

I've been to Sammy's quite a few time including their opener.  Normally I don't go to sports bar and grills, but this was an exception.  Outstanding food, service, and employees.  In fact I am going there for lunch in a couple of hours with my employee. I really enjoy their 1/2 sandwich and soup.  For purposes of being up front with my association with the owners, I have personally known the family for many years, going to their other family-owned restaurants.  Their family is the greatest and my extended family and neighbors go there as much as possible for the great food, service, and ambiance.

Nice place with decent food, but super DEAD inside! There was practically no one there when I went. I guess its not really their fault, but jeez, I like to see some people when I go out for dinner. I came here on a weekday night, so maybe that is why. I guess they changed their happy hour menu, which is not such a good thing for me. They use to have a really good happy hour menu, but I guess good things cannot last forever. My side salad was ok, the dressing was too sweet and it was supposed to have strawberries inside and all I saw was 1 strawberry cut up. Kinda disappointing. There are not many healthy foods on the menu which was a little disheartening. The staff was very nice. The place seems to be a mix of sports bar with family restaurant, I'm not really sure which one it is which seemed confusing.
