This is a very good Mexican restaurant. This was our first time there. We were a party of 3 (2 adults, 1 child - 10) on Saturday 7.13.13. We arrived about 5:15 pm and they were not very busy yet (but were very busy by the time we finished a little after 6). Their menu is extensive with all the basic Mexican dishes that most folks look for in a Mexican restaurant. I had the enchilada trio which was very good and my wife had a spinich enchilada which she said was very good (I tried it and it was). My son is not into Mexican food (yet) so opted for grllled cheese and fries and he enjoyed that too. All the dished were well prepared and presented steaming hot as served. As pretty full as we were we splurged and all got desserts - brownie sundie, flan, and cheesecake tortilla. All were really delicious. Service was very good - even after they got busy, checking on us often if we needed anything. We would return to Ixtapa in Groton and recommend to others.
