The best wings in the area!  So tasty.

My buddy and I stopped in on a Tuesday night looking to try something new. We tried the Honey BBQ wings and they were awesome! Not sure where the other reviewer got cold wings with no meat, ours were piping hot and very meaty! We also got the Reuben and Pastrami sandwiches with fries and onion rings and all the food was hot and delicious! The owner had even met us at the door and walked us to our table. We'll definitely be back.

I've heard nothing but how awesome their .50 cents wings in Monday are so I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, don't ever take food advice from young highschool guys because apparently their taste buds are horrible. I ordered 15 wings, half hot and the other half BBQ. For starters it seemed the wings had been already prepared hours in advance and then re heated. Also the sauce aim out sucked. I mean absolutely no tangy ness or spice to their recipe. I mean if you order hot you expect a slightly hot taste. Also the wings contained zero meat on them. All in all this place is horrible and they have everyone fooled by there cheap Wong night or people are just too oblivious when it comes to paying cheap money for food. If you like dry, cold, hard, and meatless/tasteless wings this place is for you. If not stay away because it truly stinks. The one good thing is their waitress was a sweetheart but the bartender who seems like the owner is a You Know What. F minus for this establishment.

Back for the holidays and stopped into J.Michael's today for the Pats game - outstanding experience and awesome place to watch a game. There are so many TV's (even in the bathroom!), never had to worry about missing a second of the game. We sat at the bar and had really friendly and fast service - that is, after finally deciding which kind of beer to get because the selection is so big! Ordered the hamburger dip and mac & cheese bites to start - yum! Followed it up with the j.michael's burger and my friend got the steak tips. We ended up sharing both because they were so delicious. The bar has a lot of room for seating for big crowds and is decorated with a ton of interesting sports memorabilia. I will definitely be back in the near future!

I am really sad to say that this experience was far from what I expected here.
Tonight we went here and it was overall awful.
We walked in and there was this really really smelly man with a cowboy hat on.. but whatever, we went and sat at a far away table so we didn't have to smell him instead of at the bar.. perhaps this was mistake #1.
We ordered sodas and some O rings. The bar lady brought over our rings and didnt even take notice that my soda was empty and nor did she bring over any app plates! we had to eat from the table i guess?
Anyway. The O rings were decent. price wasn't too bad.
    Now for the food.
I got a "cold" veggie wrap which said had "olives, pickle, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, mushroom and cheese with italian dressing. I asked for no tomato and no dressing.
What I got was preposterous. It was raw onion, lettuce, carrot chunks, and little pieces of bagged shredded cheese. It was terrible!! It was like chopped into tiny bits like I got the beginnings of a freakin' cole slaw mix! for $8? Yuck! and the homemade potato chips were burnt and dried up. really inedible... But that wouldnt matter anyway because she never came to ask us how everything was!
Now.. Mr. H always likes a good steak tip sub and it's hard for him not to like anything steak, but he only ate 2 bites and threw the rest away. He might as well have wiped with a $10 bill!
Here is what he said: "Worst steak and cheese I ever had.. I would have rather eaten cat food. The steak tasted like a 3 day old quesadilla from 7-eleven.. but 7-11 would have been better."
    So there you have it.
We won't eat here again for a while.
I even had to walk up to the bar to get a "to go" box (which we never ate from) because the bar lady was too busy talking to that stinky cowboy fella. PEW!

This place fills a pretty big void in Southern New Hampshire.  It's a pub, but not the dark and dingy kind of place you'd be afraid to bring your kids to.  Indeed, the "family" in the name of the place is not just a word, but an attitude.

As a pub, this place is pretty good.  They have all the standard pub grub, but augment them with their own special items, like the "hamburger dip" and chips.

One of their specialties are their chicken wings, which seem to be very popular, especially on Monday nights, when they have them for a special price.  They offer them "Buffalo style" along with other sauces, but to my taste, the "Buffalo" is augmented with a BBQ sauce that tends to skew the taste more toward the sweet, rather than the spicy/salty/vinegary quality of a more traditional wing.

The burgers here are pretty good (offered in two sizes).  They have an extensive menu of sandwiches as well, including a Roast Beef Bulky (served on garlic bread), and a Slammin' Steak Sandwich (which happens to be my favorite).

They have a selection of deep fried desserts--snickers bar, brownie, and another I cannot recall.  These I consider "interesting" but not a mandatory item, although people with a sweet tooth may disagree with me on that.

The selection of beers is excellent--about ten drafts and many more in bottles.  They have a full bar as well.  Televisions everywhere, including the bathrooms.  The obligatory sports memorabilia on the wall focuses on local high school/college teams.  There is even a "catch a ring on a hook" game for the kids near the entrance, which I constantly see kids attempting to try nearly every time I visit.

It's not gourmet fare, but they don't pretend to be.  It's just a pub that you should have no difficulty bringing your kids to, and its sports theme makes it a perfect place to bring your team after the game.

    Recommended.

I have been to this place a few times now, but I was looking today to see if they had the corned beef special (I got it last year on st pattys!).

I like this place a lot. It's a family pub, so it's not the crazy loud pub with people getting obnoxious and rude :D

I like their starters - hamburger dip, mac n cheese bites, and their wings. Their wings can be hot - their sauce is homemade, so I would say request for medium with a hot or extra hot on the side to dip in.

Their steak tips are great! They used their own homemade marinade. It also comes with a side of their potato crochettes and a salad. This entree is my favorite!
They also serve other meals like burgers and sandwiches which all have been good when I had sampled some.

Their desserts are unique and yummy! Can't say they're healthy, but definitely tummy satisfying :D
I love their fried snickers bar and their deep fried brownies .... mmmMMMM!

Their prices are not bad at all, and they serve many beers (I'm not a drinker, so I cannot say much for their variety, but my friends say they have a good selection).
They have free wifi for those who cannot like without the internet hehehe.

They have plenty of seating at booths, tables, and at the bar. Parking seems to be limited, but there is more available parking behind the building.

I should be heading out there today or another place for my corned beef and cabbage dinner :D

Hope you enjoy this place! I may be a little more partial to this place too as it is not a chain, and it is local for me! :D

A cool little sports bar and pub that has a decent menu. Bar food and sandwiches mostly. Prices are very reasonable. Their beer selection will not knock your socks off but its pretty good for this area of So. NH. They may actually have too many TV's going to try and actually watch something if its not a special game that they have tuned in on most of the sets. They have a TV in the bathroom so you don't have to miss a play. Service can be slow if the place is crowded, but usually it is not a problem if you are stopping in for a quick dinner. It is kid and family friendly and tends to get busy after local baseball and soccer games are over at Griffin Park.
