The older reviews on this site are not the Jacques I experienced. Yes it is not a 'fancy' place but the clientele and bartenders lend to a friendly and laid back atmosphere. I have visited there on numerous occasion (esp. Friday and Saturday nights) when they have DJ'd music and you can request songs you want to hear be played. The crowd various from young to old 'all' getting along and having a good time. Within walking distance to many eating establishments it makes for a fun night out!
