The Vine

Try to get a seat outside! the patio area is adorable and we were bummed that we were seated indoors. It was probably for the better because we wanted to go for a bikeride after (which we needed after this meal!)

first of all: Tempura bacon. SERIOUSLY? Did someone think... bacon isn't unhealthy enough, so I have to batter it, deep fry it, and make a dipping sauce pure maple syrup. The vine is seriously on to something amazing, everybody and you're witnessing it now. It's so weird! Without the maple syrup, it's like... a weird biscuit, but with the maple syrup dipping, it's like we're on a whole new level, people. It's so good and I wish it wasn't so good because I want to eat it every day.... but i also want to live longer than 3 more weeks. Seriously. good. seriously.

We also had the morning after burger. It was okay, nothing to go to town about. I think there should be a over easy egg on top. I personally think every brunch item should have an over easy egg on it. I think every FOOD item should have an over easy egg on it. Man... i want some eggs now!

I had the corned beef. For some reason I read corned beef hash and I was disappointed when I got my dish... but corned beef is SOOOO GOOD. This was a really great dish and I totally recommend it! I like how it was really salty and seasoned my eggs perfectly.  :)

I had the guava mama and the vine sunrise. Sadly, I thought they tasted really similar and I watched how the Guava mama was made and it was just Kerns from a soda can and champagne. I don't know what I was expecting... But maybe not canned juice i suppose.

The tempera bacon is seriously what makes me think about going back all the time. I can't rave about it enough.

I sorta want to come back for dinner. The menu looks awesome!

I absolutely love this place! I came here for brunch and had the smoked salmon bruschetta, nutella french toast, and guava mama.The smoked salmon was delicious which came with biscuits, salad, and potatoes. The french toast was also good and  was pretty simple. Personally, I thought the french toast could have been better if offered with more fruit. But my favorite part of our brunch was the Guava mama because it just looked so delicious (and it was!).

The service was also great! We didn't wait too long to get our food and our waitress was extremely friendly. However, it did take us about an hour to get our table. I also really like the ambiance since it is cute little cafe. We sat inside, although I wish we sat outside near the bar cause it looked cool.
