I'm actually sad to be writing a bad review for this place. Â I love their mysore masala dosas. Â I often order carry-out. Â Sadly today they only gave me half my order. Â Who wants a mysore masala dosa without sambar and chutney!? Â No good. Â And they were not at all helpful when I called back. Â They simply asked me to come back in. Â Yeah right. Â I order carry-out b/c I'm in a rush! Â So, a note to anyone ordering carry-out-- CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING!
Review Source:I honestly can't figure out all the negative reviews. This is absolutely the best Indian food in Boulder, and I've tried every Indian restaurant in town. In fact, I think it's some of the best Indian I've EVER had, which is saying a lot because I lived in New York for a while and spent a lot of time in South Asian neighborhoods. Jai Ho has a unique menu with so many wonderful dishes. Each time I go I get something different, and I have loved everything I've tried. Eat here and love it, seriously!
Now, the service is sometimes good and sometimes not so good, I will admit that, but it's a small price to pay for some of the best food in town. Simply wonderful!
The two of us had dinner on a weekday night. Â I was most impressed with the presentation, which was different (in a good way) from most Indian restaurants I have frequented. Â The menu was extensive with plenty of options for vegetarians, those counting calories or those looking for something special. Â The portions were large but not outrageous. Â We both ate our fill because we liked the food, and there was still a little to take home. Â Service could have been a little more attentive, but we were there before a typical dinner rush and when there aren't many customers it is hard for staff to walk the fine line between attentive and hovering. Â My husband kept raving about his chicken marsala. Â I liked my vegetarian cutlets. Â Prices were a little high but in the ballpark of what you'd expect.
