Boulder's Home Of The Blues

Was in Boulder CO in August 2009 and stayed at the Outlook Hotel based on recommendations for a great place to stay with "extra's."  The big extra was Blues & Green's restaurant and the "Home of the Blues" music.  Didn't know what to expect but was overwhelmed.  Just had a chicken finger plate (night one; chicken salad on night two) and micro brews because MY attention was focused on the MUSIC--outstanding!  Two different nights, two different bands.  The Johnny O Band on night one, and the Delta Sonics of night two.  I have seen lots of major Blues talent and I would rank these two bands among them.  Fantastic Night.  (After reading the review below (Whitney H), my first thought was the person was in some other location but to each their own. I have traveled, stayed and eaten in much of the US, England, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Greece and Turkey and while one might not find chicken fingers outside the US, I would say the Outlook Hotel/Boulder Home of Blues food was just fine.)

Fantastic club! Dan and Honey provide a parade of the best blues in Colorado and beyond--with many national artists such as Ron Thompson, Tommy Castro, Chris Cain--and more!

The revamped menu is excellent and yummy!

Employees are friendly and efficient.

The venue is lovely--and if you want to make a night/weekend of it, the hotel rocks!
