  Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. Stood at the bar for over 15 minutes each time (saturday 11/03/2012)  that we wanted a drink and the people around me were saying the same thing. I am a manager of a restaurant and if my employees were giving such terrible service I would definitely do something about it. Would definitely not get such good business if it weren't for the location and prices.

  Jake's is my favorite bar around UT! They have nice drink specials and a great atmosphere! One of my favorite times to head there is around UT's homecoming! The food is typically bar food which is what is expected at a bar. Prices are pretty inexpensive which is a plus.

  Jake's is my favorite bar at UT. Good prices, old school atmosphere, and close to campus. All my friends go there so it can't be beat!

  This place is just a straight up UT undergrad bar. One of the few that are right in the campus area. Not a bad place, had some excellent drink specials, $2 Molsins and $2 Miller Lites. The place also smelled a bit of stale beer (but then again what college bar doesn't). It got pretty crowded while I was there, apparently no Friday classes for these students. There were a few pool tables and I think an area outback for smoking. This place is just pretty average college bar, nothing terrible nothing great. If you're looking for cheap drinks and to play a game of "there is no way that dude is 21" this is a good place for you. If not drive right on past.
