GREAT mexican food that is affordable. This location is my 'go to" destination to fullfill my pork tostada crave! It is indeed a small space, but the service and quality make up for that. My only negative is that the television  is ALWAYS on the HIGHEST volume. A definate distraction if you decide to eat inside. This is geneally a carry-out for me because of that.
Review Source:I love their crispy chicken tacos so much I could cry. Â I can't comment on authenticity, but what I do know is I crave this place - like I have to stop myself from having lunch and dinner in the same day there. The prices are awesome, the food is fresh, and the employees are super friendly and fast. If eating here daily didn't result in me gaining weight rapidly, I'd be a regular.
Review Source:Wow, I work 2 mins away & we only come in here a couple time a year. Was crusing home wanting something quick & there it is-an empty parking space on the corner of Galena and Highland. Got some Chorizo & chicken tacos & a burrito(chico) of desesbrada for lunch next day. Out the door for less than $10 for 2 outstanding meals!
Review Source:$5.30 for 3 tacos, beans, and rice are you kidding me? Well if half of the carne asada tacos weren't fat this would be a good deal. Unfortunately they were and I was spitting out chunks like watermelon seeds. Gross... On the other hand the al pastor tacos, although not authentic, were pretty tasty. The rice was run of the mill but the beans were nice and silky smooth. Horchata was missing something too.
About as cheap as you are gonna find tacos so check it out if your on a budget. I mean there is a reason the tacos are so cheap. Your smart just think about it...Id say go with the al pastor but its up to you maybe some of the other fillings are better. Ill check it out again since its close to my gf's sisters place.
I have frequented Jalisco Tacos II for years now [on and off]. They are definitley authentic mexican short order food. I say short order because I wouldn't classify it as fast food grade i.e. taco bell, and on the other hand I would not classify it as restaurant quality food either, i.e. La Quienta De Los Reyes. Jalisco tacos is a happy medium. Like their name, their tacos are actually really good... most people usually get steak, but be adventurous... try tongue, or shredded beef, or my personal favorite: Al Pastor. They have other dishes as well that are worth a nod or two. The Enchiliadas are great, tortas are cheap but pretty darn good, and if you are feeling like you want to try something out of the ordinary but really flavorful... then try the gordita de chiccharon.
They have been there as long as I can remember. The Horchata is superb and they are very generous with the size portions compared to price. They also have a candy / dessert canister by the counter... I would go for something with coconut in it.
Service is very good, if you are eating in, they will bring you chips and homemade salsa's [chiles]. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because there has been more than one occassion where the food seemed to be a little too greasy and had the "sitting in the warmer too long" appearance.
Other than that... I would say, go for it, and try as many different tacos as you can!
If bars on the windows, and telenovelas on the TV don't bother you... try Jalisco Taco's II. It is the best Mexican food on the westside of Aurora. Hands down, and that's saying something.
The limes are always fresh, the avocados are never brown, and the service is courteous and fast. Their horchata recipe is delicious, and tortas are only $4. Skip Mickey D's, and head to Jalisco Taco's II for lunch!
This is a great little authentic Mexican restaurant.  The food is so good.  I love their beef tacos and their guacamole.  Their prices are really good and the staff is very friendly.  The place is  small and parking can get difficult if more than 2 people are there.  But, people seem to go in for pick ups more than eating in, so the cars come and go fast.  Definitely a good place to try if you want some Hispanic food for a good price.
Review Source:Jalisco's is an awesome place. Â Parking is a little awkward right off of Galena Avenue, and the restaurant looks a little skeezy from the outside, but it is SO worth it.
They have so many combinations and it all comes with a huge amount of food, and you'll only spend about five dollars for everything. Â You'll even have to take home.
