I always come here with good friends and get drunk pricing isn't bad. The only downside is having to use the bathroom when you're inebriated it involves a trip downstairs and if I'm not being careful thats a literal trip downstairs.

I stopped off with a buddy the other day. I had the breaded fishwith cheese with tartar sauce and  fries. It was pretty good. I miss the crabcake sandwich!!!

Go for the great drinks, get bar food if you're hungry. Skip the regular food- it is overpriced for what it is.

Nice neighborhood spot for dinner or drinks. Friendly bartenders and staff. Food isn't spectacular, but it's certainly good.

Really? Three + average? Had my first and last dinner there tonight.  Had to eventually flag down a waiter for a menu after waiting quite a while.  Food was quick but not impressive in any way.  Wings were mostly fried and no sauce, skirt steak had too much of something in the glaze, potatoes were tasteless.
Had to flag down the waitress eventually to get out - we'd been sitting there for a bit with no check - and we weren't rushing at all.  Loud party began setting up right next to us [it's small] with balloons and everything - totally impossible to ignore - I was done before they came but after - ick.

Visited Jamesons the other night with a buddy to catch up and grab some wholesome man food.  They employ such friendly people with great attitudes--everyone from the manager, to bartender, and especially our waitress.

Nothing too special about the beer selection, your standards of Bud, Coors, etc. I actually grabbed a couple Yuenglings; being my domestic beer of choice for the last few years now.

Started out with a serving of nachos, they tasted ok but honestly I wouldn't order them again.  This wasn't the piled high nachos with black olives, jalapenos, salsa, guac, etc. This wasn't even a special kind of "Jamesons Featured Nachos".... no for $12 they were a measly plate of boring chips with cheese wiz, a pound of sour cream, and very little "meat" (god only knows what kind) spread throughout.

On the other hand, I got a Black Angus BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and it tasted incredible; the beef was cooked medium just like I asked, it wasn't greasy at all, and the combination of fried onion strings, BBQ sauce, and cheddar was insane.

BUT!!!  Just like other Yelpers noted, the bun was awful. It lacked in flavor and fell apart into tons of little pieces every time I took a bite.

Make some small improvements, spend a little extra on buns, nachos, etc. and this place will not only be an awesome bar, it'll be an awesome Irish Pub too.

Last night was really a one-star dinner experience for my party of five, but I'm going to be fair because I've had 3-star meals and decent happy hour experiences here in the past.

First off, we did not receive any bread.  This might seem like a minor thing to you, but we noticed other tables got bread as they were sat--and we had to ask for ours, but it still didn't arrive at the table until the meal was served--90 MIN after we ordered our food!

I honestly have no idea how the following items could have taken an hour-and-a-half to cook, but we were really unhappy about it and our waitress neither apologized, nor comp'd desserts nor even offered an explanation for the insane weeknight wait for standard pub food:  3 burgers (2 cooked medium and 1 well-done), broiled salmon and shepherd's pie.  It's not like the chef was making paella from scratch!  the place was not by any means packed.  So, WTF Jameson's?!?

I will never return to this restaurant after my last visit. I ordered a BBQ cheeseburger and was given a raw patty that was essentially walked through a warm room, with BBQ sauce and cheese. The burger was so gut turning being as raw as it was, that I nearly vomited in the restaurant. The server then refused to remove the burger from the bill and instead offered a free desert as "compensation" for my issue. Being I was already sick to my stomach, this solution was ridiculous. The management couldn't care less when the issue was presented to them. I would highly recommend finding another establishment in Floral Park. This place is overpriced, incapable of cooking meat to a proper temperature, and the young kids who are "servers" couldn't be bothered with an appropriate level of service considering the price. Jack Duggansdown the street, or Trinity on Jericho is a better bet.

Everything was great here. I just wish they had let us order off the regular menu instead of the prefix one. They can't accommodate too many orders of anything so thats was :( but open bar was absolutely awesome and so was the pizzas!

The vibe of this place has completely changed in the past 3 or 4 years. It went from a decent pub type restaurant to a higher quality restaurant with a very happening bar scene at night. Defiantly one of the best places on Tulip and worth visiting. Only 4 stars because it can be expensive.

I've come here with my parent's in the past many times.  They have some pretty good all American dishes....or perhaps Irish, because after all it is an Irish place.  Nice burgers, wings, and even great fish. One thing that's memorable about Jameson's is the toasty fireplace which feels great during cold months!

I love this place, but used to love it more!  I had my daughters christening here and it was excellent...but have been back over the last few years more than a few times and have always left a bit disappointed.  Most recently I went in with the wife and daughter and sat at the hostess booth for 5 or 7 minutes, with every server and barboy coming up and looking at us, yet walking away and not saying anything...we finally walked out the back, past 5 servers who looked at us like we had 5 heads...you would have thought we had cooties or something.  I think it may be poor management, but the food has suffered and the service is not even close to acceptable as of late...and this is coming from a long time patron of over a decade.

They still have what might be the coldest tap beer in the state though, hands down!

Decent bar in the heart of Floral Park Village.  Food is ok but a little over priced for bar food.  The Sunday brunch is good but expensive.  Will set you back $50 for two people!!!!

Oh man.... we love this place! It is our standard mid week dinner/drinks standby. We have been coming for 10 years. It is one of those places that you can depend on to always have friendly, smiling staff and great bar food.

We almost always sit in the bar area and chat with the manager and bartenders. They have a good selection of beers on tap and wines by the glass, as well as a full bar. Once you sit there for a while, drinks starting getting less and less expensive...

Jameson's food is way more restaurant than bar. Everything is actually delicious, instead of just edible and greasy. We have had almost everything on the menu... notable mentions include the Black Angus Sliders or full size burger with crispy onions, Nacho Platter, Oriental Chicken Salad, Pumpkin Raviolis, French Dip and the Pork Saltimbuca. Everytime we go, at least one of us orders the Skirt Steak, which never disappoints. Wednesday nights they usually have a great all you can eat steak deal... go and check it out!

The Scene- Friendly, Local, Neighborhood Bar... NOT a dive bar! Perfect when you are looking for a low-key, mid-week happy hour with friends.
Food and Drinks- 4: Stellar! Wouldn't change a thing. Perfect burger and sweet potato fries!
Tip Worthy- 4: Double the tax and then some. Sit down at the bar and stay a while.
Coordinates- 2: State- Bring your GPS! Jameson's is located in the town of Floral Park, right on the border of Queens and one block to the LIRR station. Although the town (2 blocks long) has several other restaurants and even more bars, their isn't much else to do otherwise.
Restaurant Return Rate- Green Light! Without a doubt!

went there for lunch with coworkers.

    Great service. Wasn't packed.

Food was a bit too salty.

Love being able to draw-while-you-wait. hehe

    The service was really excellent.

The atmosphere is relaxing and just loud enough to be a good bar to hang out with friends.

Lunch is a good deal. Great steak fries and a grilled chicken sandwich with chipotle sauce is outstanding.

    I will be back.

The dessert with the hazelnut mousse and chocolate mousse is really good. Give that a try if you have room.

I like that it was decorated with that old fashioned pub style that can be found in a good bar setting.

    Still decent.

The only thing I noticed is that the crowd has gotten much younger than when I was last there a year or so back-

Bartenders are still good and are at your beck and call - perfect for me!
