This little bar is located in what appears to be a converted fast food restaurant. Â Â It's best known as one of the leaders in the failed effort to overturn KC's smoking ban.
JC's has karaoke and is pretty popular among the Claycomo area working class.
I, however, did not get a good vibe from it. Â During my visit no one was talking to each other and no one would talk to us. Â Not even the bartender. Â My friend and I felt like we were violating some sort of vow of silence just by chatting with each other. Â It was like being in a biker monastery.
My brother likes  this place, but I just wasn't hooked.
