Marcy's Restaurant and Lounge

First of all, I LOVE the "dive type, hole in the wall" places.  More often than not, the food is better than the traditional chains and the service is typically very "homey".  Well, that is definitely the case with Marcy's!  I'd driven by a few times and finally visited for the first time a few months ago.  I instantly fell in love with Sherry, who was sassy, brassy and bold!  The service was great and the breakfast was very well done!  

Since that first visit, my partner and I have been back several times, bringing other friends with us.  We were there this morning for breakfast, and after some gentle ribbing from Sherry (because it had been a few weeks since we'd been in!), we helped ourselves to another fine breakfast.  The hash browns are very well done, even crispy on demand, the omelettes are very big and very good, the biscuits and gravy are outstanding...  Well, you get the picture!  

So far, we've only been for breakfast, so I can't speak to lunch or dinner.  But I would imagine they're probably just as good also.  I don't think you'll be disappointed whenever you make a visit to Marcy's.
