Kelso's

I have been to Kelso's twice - mostly because it is one of the only restaurants/bars in NKC that I know of. It is a great place to watch a game as the bar is nice and has a pretty good bar selection with a few craft beers sprinkled in. The food is OK. It hasn't ever been bad but also hasn't blown me away. The service is always friendly, but is pretty slow. However since I am there to watch a game I don't notice it as much.

It is a place I would go back again to watch a game, but probably would choose somewhere else if I was in a hurry or wanted to eat a good lunch.

I love Kelso's pizza - it is consistenly delicious.  Their service isn't always the fastest, so when I can, I prefer to pick up pizza to-go, but I love that they are in downtown NKC, convenient to Screenland on Armour, and they are locally owned and operated, which is always a good thing to support when you can!

Tried Kelso's for a second time. The first time made me ill. The second time was no different. Something in the water? Avoid the Sausage Sammie and the Johnny Strada. Also my friend had a pathetic attempt at a pizza which was horrible, overpriced and tiny.

Bottom line... the food sucks, the service sucks, but fortunately they've yet to screw up the beer. I won't be going back ever, even if it was free.
