Who would have thought that the best drink I ever drank in my life (so far anyway) would come from a bar in Kansas City? Not me, but what a pleasant surprise! The drink in question is called Winter in Buenos Aires and is a mixture of Velho Barriero Cachaca, honey, cinnamon, lemon, and pureed roasted butternut squash. Even better is that when they serve you the old-style champagne glass full of the drink they also serve you a side car with more drink. And it's only $11. I almost died of happiness here.

I also tried the Open Sleigh which was simple and delicious, made with Long Shot White Whiskey, fig, and lime.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a bad cocktail in the house so pick your poison and let them work your magic.

The bar is pretty small and is a "you have to have a seat" kind of place. Reservations are taken text or phone, or you can show up and be put on a wait list if you don't call ahead.

If you are in Kansas City for any reason it would be a shame to miss out on drinks at Manifesto so definitely stop in if you are a fan of cocktails in any way, shape, or form.

Holy Toledo this place is just awesome for drinks.  There are too many excellent offerings and I will soon be making a return trip to try out selections that I still have on my 'must try' list.  Dimly lit, friendly, and away from the typical 'bar crowd', and crafted cocktails in a variety to suit any taste.

Love this place! The drinks are really good and I love that you can have no idea what you want, but as long as you tell your bartender what types of alcohol you like they'll whip you up something delicious.
Drinks are about $11 but for the quality you get, it's worth it.

The one thing that cracks me up is on their website they say "No yelling, screaming, hollering, shouting, fighting,or other unnecessarily loud vocalizations unless it is an attempt to warn fellow patrons or employees of impending danger or police raid." but the place is pretty loud.(At least when I was there) I was expecting it to be very quiet, but the speakers were playing at a fairly loud level.
