A bit of a dive, the cheap beer ($4.50 for 22oz. premium beer) and pool ($0.50) are a draw. Â The staff is attentive and they have a huge number of pool tables, so there is typically one open at all times (except during UFC fights). Â They have a few regulation sized tables but most are bar-sized.
It's far from upscale and has a local crowd, but for night of pool and reasonably priced beers, it gets 2 thumbs up.
I've been to Side Pockets quite a few times, but had never been to this location. I finally decided to come to this one and enjoyed it even more than the other location. This one is bigger than the one in Lee Summit, closer to my house and has more tv's throughout the place. Just like the other location, they have drink specials here and a pretty decent variety on their menu. I can definitely see myself coming back again.
Review Source:I've been here probably a hundred times plus in the many years. Â For bar food it's actually pretty darn good and exceeds most others bar food.
During the past few years service simply gets worse and worse every time. Â Our group of 8 to 10 friends that met here every Monday night has moved to other establishments where service means something. Â It's not just one server it's a large portion of them, that are simply in off in la la land. Â
If you're in any kind of hurry this isn't for you.
