I've been here several times over the past few years after some friends from another bar told me about it. Â Â (As many times as I have been here, I can't believe I've never taken any interior pictures.)
This is one of those places you have to be buzzed into, so you need to either be a member or look like you know what you're doing and not a troublemaker. Â
The owner is nice and will treat you well, as long as you respect her and the place. Â But if you aren't drinking, or if you start bothering other customers, you'll be shown the door in a heartbeat.
I've never managed to sit at the bar here, it's just about always full. Â There's a few small bar tables and a decent sized stage that's mostly used for karaoke. Â In the far back is a pool table and an area where a buffet is occasionally set up. Â There's also a small dance floor in the corner by the stage.
There's a kitchen too, but I never seem to get here before it closes so I can't say anything about the food.
The clientele is very blue collar, a working class bar populated by an interesting assortment of well-weathered characters.
I haven't been in as much lately as the regulars I knew here have moved on, but I try to drop in every once in a while.
