I would prefer to give them 3.5 stars but will go with 4 since 3 seems a bit harsh.
They are spacious and have a great selection of hookahs, accessories, tobacco, etc. The only problem I have when purchasing a new flavor here is that there are so many to choose from!
There are two reasons why I would say 3.5 stars --
1. Several weeks ago I inquired about getting a replacement stem for a nice hookah that I had had for several years but was starting to get old and corroded. The employees at both Jaskki's and Main St Tobacco (same ownership) told me to bring in the base and they would find me a stem that could fit it. However, when I finally brought the base in a couple of weeks ago I was told by another employee (possibly the owner) that stems are not manufactured to be purchased separately so my only option was to buy a new hookah. That's fine but I wish the other members of staff would have known that too.
2. The hookah that I ended up purchasing was bout $60 and seemed really nice, but when I brought it home and actually used it I found that it was much more lightweight and flimsy than my previous hookah, which cost about the same. Not a big deal as long as it holds up for a decent amount of time but I was still a bit disappointed.
I travel to the Middle East quite a bit and a colleague convinced me to purchase a hookah while in Kuwait during my last visit, and I am really pleased that I did!
Upon returning home I decided that I need some more shisha and starting Googling about and stumbled upon quite a few establishments in the Kansas City area. Jaskki's was the only place that was open before 4pm though, which kinda bummed me out but that turned out to be a good thing.
I was at the store just as they opened because I figured it would be fairly quiet and assumed the staff would be more readily available for help. Â My assumption was correct and multiple staff members were more than willing to help me out.
I began having such a good time I decided to take a shisha break there and experiment with the various manufacturers and shisha flavors that they have on hand. While my education continued I began to set aside items to purchase. I became so wrapped up in my personal fun I completely lost almost four hours in the store.
The best deal is if you purchase five shisha tobaccos, because you are given a discount of 25%, which was even better. Even hookahing there was really inexpensive because I have spent a lot more in the Middle East without the fantastic selections to choose from.
I am now a regular-regular at Jaskki's  and I am now starting to create my  own shisha blends thanks to their help.
The ONLY bummer out my experience is that not all staff members are familiar with all the various types of shisha tobacco that they have. I can understand I suppose since they have quite a few products ranging from shisha, pipe tobacco, cigars, etc.
A final suggestion would be to start serving Turkish coffee.
Even though I have investigated other stores in the local area they just are not the same as Jaskki's.
The coffee is ok, but don't buy any of their other products.
They don't stand behind anything they sell. No refunds, no exchanges.
I bought one of their items last week, got it home and it didn't work. Took it back to exchange it for a much more expensive piece and was told point blank that I must of handled it wrong and broke it. I failed to see the the writing on the receipt that said "No exchanges, No returns".
If I would of known that there were no returns or exchanges, I wouldn't of bought it in the first place. My bad.
They're basically saying, "We paid 2 dollars for a piece of crap. We sold it to you for $40. If you buy it and it doesn't work, it's your fault. Sucker!!! Â
They're running a scam. If you buy any of their crap and it doesn't work, you're screwed. They won't give you your money back and they won't let you exchange it.
I was basically told, "You're stupid. We got your cash, now fuck off.".
