JJ's Seafood & Bar

Grand opening tonight Heard its supposed to be like Boiling Crab. This used to be the old DWJ place. Very spacious with alot of room and a bar area. Its like a Seafood sports bar with tvs everywhere.

I've never had the boiling crab before and now i know what the whole rave is about. Seafood sauced with garlic/ginger/seasoning in a thick sauce all thrown into a bag to hold its flavor. It was actually not bad. We had the JJ Style, hot, with snow crablegs, clams and shrimp. Its actually pretty good, the flavor is there and i actually like it. Just the right spice and the sauce could have been a little more. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as you will lick your fingers to the tip.

I'll be back soon once they settle in. The only reason i gave it 3 stars was b/c it took forever for our tickets to be sorted. We had a party of 8 and had them split our checks into 4 separate orders. Time waited was 45-60min and they had readjusted it 4 times already and  it was still incorrect. I know its new and since it was the first day i'll be back soon to try it again and have a follow up review.

Had lunch there today.  Best chicken tenders I've ever had.  The breading was light, which is good because usually chicken tenders are over-breaded.  The atmosphere is really cool too.  They have a full bar (starting on Tuesday), mix and match beer buckets, sports on LOTS of TVs, and great food!
