I was here on a Saturday for champagne brunch.  It was over 100 degrees out & the waitress offered to bring out a bowl of ice water to give our dogs who were left in the truck. We were impressed with that service. Food was good too and with students gone for the summer the service was quick.

Best brunch in town and $4 bottomless champagne,  A classy place that is reasonably priced.  I love the new chef's menu.  The happy hour tapas are a great deal too.  A true happy hour with selected tapas half off.

We were staying at the Diamond Hotel (Which deserves five stars!!) and decided to stop here for breakfast on our way out of town. We arrived there at 9:30 and it took nearly 15 minutes to get cups of water (we assumed  they must have had a water specialist because our waitress refused to pour it). We finally placed our order and I had ordered a BLTA. This was about 9:50 am. She came back and said I could not order it because that part of the menu didn't start until 10:00am. She didn't bring back a menu with her for me to look at so I quickly ordered and egg and spinach sandwich(The only thing I could remember). After she left we began discussing this and realized they couldn't make the sandwich because it must have been a bread problem yes that's it...but it wasn't because they had toast or it must have been a bacon problem well wait they sell a side of bacon and the sandwich I was forced to order had bacon on it so that couldn't be it.  So was it a lettuce problem, a tomato problem or avocado problem? We were just quite confused. So finally our food was brought at 10:15 (After the 10:00am deadline). The whole thing was quite ridiculous. In the end I asked for a side of tomato and lettuce took the egg and spinach off of the sandwich I had order (which by the way was disgustingly greasy) and my husband gave me two pieces of his toast and I got my BLTA I just had to put it together!
