Madison Bear Garden

Love the atmosphere and all the decorations. The food is good  and they have daily specials that are a little cheaper. I normally upgrade to garlic fries and the portion sizes are pretty big. Every time i come to Chico i come here because it is unique.

The Bear wasn't my favorite bar when I lived in Chico, but it's the one I miss the most. I know it will never be as much fun as it was when I knew the entire staff and all the dirty little bear flies who always ended up taking their clothes off, but the Jiffy Burger is still delicious. I only wish it hadn't taken my old roommate so long to convince me to try one.

As I was visiting a friend in Chico, he suggested that we get the whole College Town experience and try Madison Bear Garden.
Place is just OK... I mean, its in a College Town so you really can't expect much. food is fairly price for college students but lacks flavor and character. Really good happy hour specials and beers.
This place can easily get Loud from every single college kid.
For some weird reason security guards didn't allow me to take many pictures, WTF???
Before 10pm you can easily notice a few blacked out people, Awkward...
If you are still in puberty Bears could be the place for you, its just not for me.
