Its half dive and half dump with really cheap beer which makes this place quite charming. Yea, its in North Topeka which means it won't have the buzz and haute culture of say  West Topeka, just look past the burnt meth dens, creepy used auto shops and homicidal transients.

Do you remember that guy in high school, he was a grade or two ahead of you and he was in a band, he played the drums, walked around school all day with drumsticks in his back pocket, always wore that threadbare T-shirt with Rush, Van Halen or Areosmith on the front with the tour dates on the back, never did homework, didn't need to because he was going to 'make it' in a band?  Well....this guy is still in a band, still thin but tragically balding, married to a RN, LPN or a teacher, kids, driving a minivan filled with pool cleaning equipment for his job, and his band probably plays at Joletta's Friday or Saturday nights.

They have 32oz Bud draws for $3.00 ?! The last time I was here the bartender didn't recognize Jameson Whiskey even though they sold it but he was cool. They have live music every Fri and Sat night. Sometimes the band plays 'country music', so consider yourself   warned...
