My boyfriend and I love coming to the Blind Tiger, especially when there's a good game on. I'm gonna go on a limb here and say they have the BEST buffalo wings and bleu cheese I've encountered yet. While I'm not a huge fan of their beers (I'm more of a Wisconsin micro-brew gal), I can get by with their Kolsch, my boyfriend loves just about all of their beers though, especially the Maibock . The service is almost always perfect (there's been a couple busy nights, but whatever) and rarely have we had incorrect orders. I have yet to order something from the menu that I really disliked.

My favorites on the menu include their sirloin steak or their fish and chips. The taco salad isn't that great, it has a little too much meat on the salad for my liking. If I'm feeling like a real fatty, enjoying my beer and watching a good KU game, I'll indulge in their cheese fries. YUM.

I really wish they'd get some bigger TV's in the place though. That addition alone would make it our sole destination for game days.

Went this past weekend for a family outing. I now understand why so many of the written reviews focus on the beer - it seems to be the primary reason for most visits. Since I did not have the beer, I will keep my comments to the food. My wife had the Cobb salad and it was well presented, a nice balance of all items rather than the usual overload of lettuce served at most places. I ordered the burnt ends. What I received was not burnt ends. Burnt ends are by definition cut from the point end of the brisket. What I got was just cut up brisket. It was way overcooked and lacked any flavor, other than the BBQ sauce poured over it. The bar fries and the baked beans were average. There was also an error on our check. In the region known for its BBQ, BT is a sub performer. This is not a destination we would choose, but would only go if invited by others.

I was staying overnight in Topeka, so upon looking for a good restaurant, I was pointed to the Blind Tiger.  The Blind Tiger has a nice selection of microbrews as well as a varied food menu.  Therefore, I decided to have both a beer and some BBQ.  They have a good raspberry wheat beer, and I also tried their Holy Grail Pale Ale.  As for the BBQ, it was tasty, and I had their beef brisket.  Service was prompt and the server made me feel welcome.
