Everytime I go there the place is impressing me more and more. Went there in the early afternoon to meet friends. The bartender was so friendly and suggested a drink for my friend. It was awesome. Â The atmosphere is relaxing and even when I've gone there during the evening it's still pretty fun. Great bands playing. Good dance floor space and great crowds.
Review Source:The food was delicious! Â We had the fried PB&J for an appetizer, which was every bit as good as I thought...I would actually have it for dessert next time though. Â My fish and chips were good. Â My friends French Dip was to die for. Â The meat was super tender and the bread was just right. Â Definitely something I would order next time! Â I also loved the handcut french fries...next time I'm going to try the sweet potato ones!
Review Source:This is a great place to enjoy some beer and listen to live music. I went on a Saturday night and had no problem getting a great seat and great service. The bartenders are very friendly and will keep your drinks flowing.
The acoustics are also very good for listening to live music. The bands set up in one corner, and since the place is all on one level with no obstructions other than the bar in the middle, the sound travels well into the back corners. Some bars have lots of weird angles and walls that make it difficult to listen to live music unless you are sitting right up front.
I cannot speak to the food menu or to the waitstaff, because I'm the type of guy that just sits at the bar and orders beer. Because I love America.
Very good place to hear live music and dance on the weekends. Â Also, a good place to watch football. Â Plenty of TVs and the chairs have backs to them, so more comfy than just a bar stool. Â Although the bar stools that are actually around the bar are normal with no back, which is to be expected.
I don't drink so I have no idea about alcoholic beverages or the price.
Service is just ok in this very busy place on a football Sunday. The waitress was running around like mad. Â Good thing she's young! Â
The reason I only gave 3 stars is because of the food. Â The fries, tomato, lettuce, and fixings were good. Â But I ordered the hamburger medium and it was extremely well done. Â Actually, it was burnt. Even though I got a discount on the bill, I would expect an offer to have the burger replaced with one that was done right. Â I also wasn't told by the waitress that she would take some off the bill, I just saw it when I got the check. Â Which I had to walk around the bar to find someone to ask. Â I think it was the owner who finally gave me the check. Â I probably won't order food again.
I encourage people to check it out when there is live music. Â However, as another person wrote, the small parking lot does get full fast.
I'm a fan...of the food. I've eaten here twice and both times, the food was very good. What I did have a bad experience with, was the service I received on my second visit. Our server frequently disappeared for 20 minutes at a time and twice, I had to go looking for her (couldn't find her).
Review Source:Ok, so - this review has taken me forever to write. Mainly because my first stop here, I barely remember. I know I ate something & I was happy, but I was out the entire evenly leading up to this particular establishment on my way home. (You are getting the picture, right? I was D-R-U-N-K, Â I can't guarantee that they even served me any alcohol)
Now that I have partaken in a lunch hour visit, I shall resume my awesome reviewing status of Jolie's. The parking lot IS ALWAYS packed. The crowd is dedicated. They love their bar. They love their bartenders/servers/owner. What's not to love? They are sweet, they are attentive, they are beautiful, but honestly; they are darn-right fun! Â You can tell that they love working together, and that they love their jobs.
The atmosphere is a down home type. It's a darker, sports related, I know everyone - everyone knows me kind of place. They offer live music on the weekends, Football on Sundays (they have the ticket!), and drink specials daily (including a 12hr Happy Hour every single day!).
The food is excellent. We had breakfast for lunch. Eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns were actually crispy and not burnt (just like I ordered), the bacon was thick and juicy, and my toast was still warm when I got it. How often does that happen? Yeah, never. I'm aware.
The food is cooked fresh. If you order onion rings - it starts out as an onion. Not a frozen bag of crap to toss in your fryer. The batter is made by daily by the cooks. It's like gourmet bar food. Love it.
It hasn't been open long - If you haven't yet been, GO! It's a little hidden gem of awesomeness tucked into the corner of Arizona Ave. & Warner.
I don't get it. Â Not only this place has excellent reviews, but the parking lot is packed from 5 am till well past midnight. Â And I see it every day, I'm not exaggerating.
So finally I dragged my husband in there for lunch. Â We wanted to see what all they hype was about. Â And??? Â we still want to know what the hype is all about.
Ok, so I get it must be a great bar, so I understand it being crowded during typical "bar hours". Â But what's up with 6 am, or 10 am, or 12 pm? Â
The service was good, I admit. Â The lady that helped us was very friendly.
But the food, well, it was just average bar food. Â And the place is dark and cavernous...again, great for a bar, but breakfast or lunch? Â I
So I'm still baffled...
The menu leaves a lot to be desired with only a handful of lackluster choices and the service was questionable at best. Our waitress was painfully hung over though pleasant enough. The mimosas were watered down and oddly served in snifters. The bloody Mary's were a crime against humanity. The bartender should be sanctioned by the UN. The breakfast burritos are mediocre. The french toast is NOT french toast, it was just a soggy mess. Â Calling it a restaurant is an overstatement. It's a bar that serves some food. Overall it's a bar well suited to the NASCAR crowd but for anyone interested in eating quality food or ambience Jolie's place probably isn't the place for you.
Review Source:I been going to jp since it open. Menu are great, will try breakfast one of these days if I wake up that early on the weekend. But rest of the menu are great and portion are great compare to price. Mac and cheese, fresh chilled are great, love onion rings, parmesan French fries, most sinful are late night menu of fried peanut butter and jolley and also fried twinkie too.trust me everything are good. Too many good things too lust
Review Source:Best burger and fries I've ever had. The burger bun is heavenly. I just love this place. Beer is cold. Vibe is warm. Outdoor patio is private and comfy. The staff is really friendly and look like they really love what they do. Jolie is the bomb! It's going to be my next home away from home.
Also so yummy: the fried PB'n'J on the late night menu, wings and Phil 'Shrooms! Nice place to come at 6am for breakfast too. Â ; )
