Really cool place! Â As others have mentioned, the patio is great. Â I'm not too much of a beer fan, so I didn't partake in any ale's, but I was with two friends that enjoyed the variety of micro brews offered and said that there was something to meet any beer lovers' interest.
I and. another friend enjoyed a few glasses wine. Â They don't have a huge selection, but have some very nice white and red wines. Â Better yet, a lot of them are from MI! Â They also offers soda's, iced teas, and a really cool variety of cocktails.
The food is great! Â Between the five of us, we had three BLT's, a carnivore pizza, and a burger. Â All were fantastic! Â In addition, the coconut milk ice cream, pumpkin whoopee pies, and ricotta fritters were great. Â I can't comment on the fries that come with some of the sandwiches, but the salad and house red wine vinaigrette, which is the other side option is fantastic.
The service was outstanding.  We were seated at one table and wanted to move, they  accommodated us.  We sat for hours drinking, eating, visiting and laughing and they were very attentive and friendly. Â
This place will become one of my "staples"
This place makes me so happy.
First, the beer is good. It didn't blow me away, but it's solid and the prices are perfect.
The food and the service were amazing. They have a super large selection of veggie options. Everything looked delicious! We weren't super hungry, so we ended up with a few appetizers, instead of entrees.
The only downside was I found their menu to be confusing. They hand you a large menu in a wooden binder - but most of it is specials that are only available on certain days or only for lunch. The pages are titled with the availability, but I still found it to be confusing.
I'm definitely a fan! The sour beer is unique and delicious (they provide samples if you are new to sour beer), they regularly update their menu with new beer, the waitstaff is excellent, and the food is pretty good. I gave JP four stars because their restaurant week menu was sub par (and not a good deal) and the lamb that I has was only mediocre. The rest of the food is excellent, you can't go wrong with their pizza or sandwiches. I highly recommend Jolly Pumpkin!
