Melange

I came here because I had a a groupon. The food is overpriced and not of the highest quality.  So pick one of the many other restaurants nearby.  I'm not in the mood to leave a lengthy review.  I will say that our server was attentive and nice.  No issues there.  I liked their Orange Bourbon Fizz drink, but their "new fashioned" wasn't on point.  We got the River Rock app, way over priced.  You get 6 slices of the thinnest pieces of steak I've ever seen. I got the Sablefish by our server recommendation, because she said it was very similar to Sea Bass. I wish I hadn't, I got it prepared with the mushroom risotto, carrots and peas with asparagus & brussels (this side normally would come with the halibut).  Their was only one  brussel that was tiny and cut in half, the risotto was dried out. the carrots and peas looked/ tasted like they came out of a can.  My boyfriend got the duck.  He enjoyed, I got to taste it, and have definitely tasted better.  So, to wrap up this review.  The food is overpriced and not of the highest quality.  So pick one of the many other restaurants nearby.

They have one of the best happy hour's around. Great deal! Highly recommend going between 4 and 6 on a weekday for half off drinks and sushi.

Melange! So sad that you took away the daily risotto. You were one of the few places in town that did it consistently, and well. And now I see that the scoosi bread appetizer has been retired, as well? There were happy hours when you would walk in and see wall to wall tables of women gossiping over this amazing cheese-bread-tomato concoction, and every women who wasn't indulging was wishing she was. And closing your kitchen early on a Friday night because you were slow? I weep many tears, along with all of my compatriots who have a difficult time eating before 10 when there are so many adventures to be had. Dancing is hungry work. We need calories.
