I've been to Frasier's a few times with friends. It's really not that great. The food looked pretty decent, but like most bars there's nothing for us veggies. I'm not always in the mood for beer, so I've tried the long islands which are expensive, and I've gotten other mixed drinks which were expensive and weak. The bathroom is a nightmare. I think I saw our server's nipple. Not the type of night I'm looking for.
Review Source:I keep trying to give Fraser's a second, third, and fourth chance; but they always disappoint. Â I assume this "pub," wants to try to scare away it's customers,
instead if building it's clientele.
After sitting on their patio for 10 minutes and watching the waitress assigned to our section peak out at us and walk away we waited in vain another 5 minutes.
I approached a very curt bartender who seemed like she didn't have time to be bothered. Â I asked her if there was a waitress working the patio and she said, "yes." Â I hoped that the bartender might use her customer service skills and let me know someone would be with me shortly. Â That never happened. Â So I asked the bartender if the waitress died in a horrible accident. Â Insensitive yes, rude no. Â
The bartender replies, "That's not a good way to get me to help you." Â Rude, definitely. I've worked as a waiter/bartender for 10 years, I have never treated a customer like that. Â Honestly, I'm not sure if the Fraser's staff knows what customer service is.
I immediately left and wrote this, so what say you? Do you have mediocre to terrible customer service when you are at Fraser's Pub?
I wish I liked Fraser's, because it's in my neighborhood and that would be so convenient. We've been there a few times over the years, but there are so many better places we can spend our money at, even thought I have to drive or bike to them.
The burgers are average. Like Cubs A.C. the menu includes a long list of fancy-sounding burgers that don't live up to their descriptions. If they splurged on higher quality buns, it might put them into the "good" category. I had the fish and chips a few years back, and it tasted like the kind you buy in the box at the grocery store. Fraser's may be a good place to go for beer, but if you want to get a bite of good food to eat in a townie bar, go to Casey's or the Old Town, where servers and bar staff actually make eye contact with you when you enter the building.
