  My family has been going to A J's for over 10 years - every time we vacation in Destin. Several years ago we thought the prices were getting high but we kept going anyway. Two years ago our experience was mediocre at best, and this year we finally had enough! Our party of five visited on a Sunday evening - it was moderately busy but not all the tables were full and we were seated right away. Maybe the waitress forgot to put in our order? Not sure what happened but an hour later we didn't have our food and all the tables around us had turned over and were getting their food. The "Run of the Kitchen" was tasty but expensive. The Fried Shrimp platter was good but only contained 6 or 8 shrimp and the remainder was fries for $22. The hushpuppies were cold and NOT GOOD AT ALL. Will not return to A J's on future visits to Destin. P.S. the bathrooms and floors could use a good cleaning. Their location on the Destin harbor is awesome, but the place has really gone downhill.
