+ Good wings, cheap drinks
- Â Limited seating, plain pizza, tasteless burger
Went here last week for a late lunch at 4:30pm. Â The bar area, as soon as you walk in, was hopping. Â We passed by them and luckily got one of the tables at the back. Â There are only about 3 booths and a few tables at the back. Â So from the outside the place is bigger than it looks as it widens up at the back.
The dinner waitress didn't start till 5:00pm so we picked up a menu at the table and ordered at the bar. Â I noticed they have a happy hour during the week, cheap well drinks and 2 for 1 domestic bottles of beer. Â We ordered a burger and fries, and their pizza and wing combo. Â The latter, you get a one item small pizza and 6 wings for only $9.00; that's pretty darn good.
Food came within 30 minutes. Â Pizza wasn't that great, I ordered bacon, pepperoni, and mushrooms. The problem seemed to be the sauce and dough/crust--just too plain. Â The burger was small with unseasoned ground beef, nothing special about it at all. Â The fries were okay. Â The wings was the best part. Â They were medium and tasted great, though next time I'll have to tell them, "extra crispy".
By the time we were done eating, the waitress had started her shift and gave us the bill. She was friendly and gave us takeout boxes for our leftovers. Â We left at 5:30pm and the restaurant area was full, so it was good we were early.
Note: The men's room has to be one of the smallest I have ever been in. Not the cleanest either.
