The best Cirque show I've ever had the pleasure to see. Â Like most other Cirque shows, you will be amazed by the acrobats and dancers, but what I like best about this show is that there is a story line.
Since this was the first show I had ever seen, when the box office person said she could upgrade our seats, we were very excited. Â Unfortunately, what we didn't know was that you don't need up front seats...if you are in the C tier seats, you will still have an incredible view of the entire show.
While I was on a tour that went to Vegas, my family and I wanted to go to our first Cirque du Soleil show. We weren't sure if we wanted to go to O or Ka. Our tour guide recommended Ka, so we went to that one. I expected to be mesmerized for the full 90 minutes, but that wasn't what happened.
We paid $120 each for seats that were pretty close to the front. I thought the show as a whole was just okay. I wasn't that amazed. For me, it started off really slow until it picked up in the second half. I didn't care for the scenes when the performers were just talking nonsense with no action involved. I did like the rotating stage. My favorite parts were the forest scene and the guys on the spinning wheel things near the end. My dad next to me kept looking at his watch constantly. My mom was also bored. I was only entertained in some parts. At the end, I only gave a standing ovation because everybody else was. Overall, it didn't really live up to my expectations. I feel it would have been better if the prices were a little bit lower. I left wondering if I should have went to O instead.
