Kefi's Tavern

Good drink specials, decent prices, and cool shit on the walls - a collection of bumper stickers from all over the world (always good to see a Wall Drug sticker,) do not a totally awesome bar make, unfortunately, much to Kefi's chagrin.

What it does make, however, is a pretty awesome spot to sit around and get drunk with a bunch of like-minded folks.

It's not a bad place, and not quite a dive; I like enough to go back, but I'm certainly taking anyone there on a first date.

Food was good. Hushpuppies were very greasy and tough. Waitresses were nice. Nothing too serious to complain about.

There are constantly drinks specials, so you can't complain about that.

The bar is huge, there is also a separate room for dining, and there is some shuffle board.  Well, the shuffle board is not level so it makes it difficult to actually play, which is about all you can do here.  I have never gone in when there have been more than 10 people in the entire building.  They do have live music, but since there weren't that many of us (6 including myself) it was so unbearably loud we left immediately after our drinks arrive.
