I went to Kelly's again last friday with a couple of good friends and had a great time. I first started going there during my high school years and hadn't been in a while. It felt like home the minute I entered. So many places come and go, but Kelly's has been around for what seems like forever, and it's easy to see why. Friendly staff, great tables, and fair prices.
Review Source:Let me start this by saying I've never had an issue at Kelly's until last night.
I've frequented this establishment with groups of people and generally, the service is good.
Last evening, our waitress decided she was going to be lazy, unapproachable and dishonest - why? I guess she really doesn't like her job.
My friend, whom wasn't playing pool, paid for his glasses of wine, my $12 set and my sisters' $12 set. The gentleman behind the counter acknowledged that we were paying for someone at the table and even yelled over at the waitress for our tab before we paid.
I receive a phone call about 45 minutes later from my sister and she asked if we paid for her. I said we did, and she said the waitress told her, very snootily, "Well I don't know anything about that!"
So, not only did we tip her (not much, because her attitude is poor) but she also DOUBLE-CHARGED my sister.
I was going to rate this place a 4-star; the cigarette smoke is nasty, so you'll never get a 5-star outta me... but now you're down to a 2-star rating ALL because of the dishonest female staff member.
Let me know when you're ready to make things right, Kelly's.

Nice! This is by far one of the cleanest pool halls I have been to! The tables were well kept and the acoustics were good!
My only gripe was probably due to the crowd that was there at the time that I was there. The music. But that is just my opinion, as I can only take the "Nelly"- style of R&B in small doses, not for 2 hours straight.
I would come back here if I was in the area.
