Beer was cold and long island ice tea was made well. Place is clean but  it does get loud when it is crowded. Even though they do allow smoking it does not get too smoky in the bar area.
Also the prices for drinks are cheap, 3.75 for a 24oz of beer. Well drink was 6 bucks.
Cons - they don't allow cigar smoking

Tried some fried cheese bite  thing  and it was the worst thing I ever ate. All though others seemed to like it.
Rude!! Was there for 20 minutes. Did not get any service cuz the wait staff preferred to dance around instead of work. Tried to let someone know as i was leaving and they were rude too. Place wasn't even busy. Staff just sucked!! Went down the street and had a great time at Tommy's Oasis!!
Review Source:My boyfriend brought me here, he said he liked it because it was quiet(er) and has good drink specials. I will say the the ladies bathroom was really nice and clean. Happy hour is decent. But it smells horribly (and I'm a smoker) and the owner was drunk by 530 pm Friday night. It's a lot of old drunk regulars, and the bar owner seemed to have no problem handing them out free shots (and of course some for himself). Our waitress was attentive, but we were there early so I can't vouch for busier nights. Only one pool table, but quite a few  "gambling" machines. I would come back if I had nowhere else to go.
Review Source:I have mixed feelings about this place. I am a smoker so it does earn cool points. Â The prices are about average, maybe a little on the high side but not too much to be mad over. Not much on tap, just your usual Bud Light, Miller Light etc. Sports are always on tv. When football season comes around, they always take up all the good tvs (even when the baseball playoffs are on they play football instead). The pool tables are horrible. Cool little jukebox and a dj on saturday nights. The only real problem I have with this place, is the service. Everyone that works during the evening is a JERK. My friends and I went there, and my tab alone was $50 and I left a generous 25% tip. After I was done drinking I asked for water and they just looked at me like I was crazy. Bartender filled up the glass only halfway and just kind of slammed it on the counter and walked away. They also ran our of pitchers and glasses so I was unable to order a pitcher and they just gave me beer in a plastic cup.
Friendly service is my biggest pet peeve when going to a bar/restaurant. I will never go here again unless I absolutely have to.
Came in here for a few drinks on 9/17/2011 at 7:00pm. Horrible Horrible service. Not the bartenders fault though. Owner sits at the end of the bar doing shots with employees while customers wait 15 minutes for drinks. Was there on a Saturday expecting to watch the big college football game between #1 Oklahoma & #5 Florida St. Â Game wasn't on any TV. Asked to change channel behind bar and bartender was so stressed out from being shorthanded in staff that it took him a good 20 min to put the game on. On top of that, he put the game on a smaller TV at the end of the bar. We felt real bad for the bartender working shorthanded. We left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. Â Its a shame, cause we are BIG GREEN BAY PACKER FANS and would love to give this place business on NFL Sundays. BOO KG'S!!
Review Source:KG's Sports Grill is located just south of Hwy. 287, in Mansfield, Texas, but in actuality it is situated inside a 40 year time-warp of furnishings and decor.
If fairness, I know that my tastes aren't everyones. So instead of smoking KG's for what I consider to be its failings, I think it would be better to designate its high points for those like-minded individuals for which this business was obviously intended.
If you're a smoker or don't mind second and third-hand smoke - this is your kind of place.
If you're looking for an excuse to have you're clothing dry-cleaned to remove lingering smells - this is your kind of place.
If you like luke- warm beer served in warm mugs - this is your kind of place.
If you'd rather go wait at the bar than have a waitress take your order -- this is your kind of place.
If you're a fan of sixties retro plastic wood grain, that matches the paneling to the table tops - this is your kind of place.
If you're a Packer's fan - this is your kind of place
(The owners claim to be from Wisconsin, or so says their website).
As for me, this is definitely - NOT my kind of place.
