My friends and I are pretty regular customers here, and we love it. The beer selection is obviously unbeatable, and the servers know what they're talking about, so they can help find the right beer for your taste. The food menu keeps improving. It's solid bar food - we usually get some fried pickles and a flatbread pizza, or we order from the nearby PF Chang's. The menu also tells you which beer goes well with each dish, which I find pretty cool and helpful. And a major plus for me is the TVs everywhere to watch whatever game is on at the time. If you like great beer or want to try some new ones, WOB is definitely your best bet.
Review Source:So I really wanted to give this place 4 stars, but they really upset my friend so they got knocked down a peg.
We weren't really greeted at the door, but were able to find seats really quickly. Â We sat on the patio which was awesome because it was the perfect night. Â Within 2 minutes the waitress was over and taking my order. Â She took time to explain the menu to me and even gave me advice based on my preference. Â She was AWESOME!
The beer menu is kinda overwhelming but the waitress actually seem to know their stuff so feel free to ask them questions. Â For instance, I love Revolver Blood and Honey and Wells Banana Bread Beer. Â After having both of those I asked for her suggestion and she brought me DogFish Head Pumpkin. Â Um wow! this was an awesome beer.
Now why I gave them 3 not 4 stars ... first the greeting staff was rude. Â Second, my friend ordered bucking bock on tap (his 2nd favorite beer) and when it came he told her tasted wrong. Â We all tasted it and agreed it did not taste like the normal bucking bock. Â But she didn't listen so he just ordered another beer. Â I would have liked someone to say they had tried but it was correct... just some acknowledgment of the problem. Â
So in summary great beer and great servers; bad hostess and bad management.
I've been to this location several times since they opened; have always pretty much had decent service. I went with some friends on April 29th and had the worst service I've ever had there, much less any bar. The waitress passed our table numerous times throughout the night with all of our glasses being empty; in which we had to stop her and ask for refills. Needless to say when we got our check, she was not tipped too well. The next day when I looked at my account, she added an additional $10 to her tip. I immediately emailed the franchise and the corporate office to get the issue resolved; it's now the middle of May and I still haven't heard anything. Watch out for your receipts being altered and check your accounts!
