Cool space...decor is sort of the tin walls with the 50s flare with the old trailer and cars inside. Â So yes it is big...cars are parked inside. Â Menu is left up to the imagination. Â It seems like it would be really good food. Â But everything our friends ordered was fried. Â So we were like eh. Â I did see sweet tater fries on the menu...sooooooooooooo you know me right? Â "Swwet Tater Fry or Die" motto. Â Waffled and crisped...a little undercooked on some and overcooked on others. Â I requested light salt...thank goodness...they were salty. Â The chicken and waffles seemed quite a delight to the people with us. Â Chicken Fried steak, actually looked old school diner, in a good way, not like a greese spoon situation. Â Tues is Dolla make you Holla Bier night. Â I think they just call it is $1 beer night...but whatever. Â I like to spice it up? Â Hostess was nice, Sid our waiter was nice. Â The tables were spacious and clean. Â Bar...is a no go. Â With this sort of out in the middle of nowhere space, I can see it getting packed bc the locals do not want to drive to Arlington or FW. Â But you have a beautiful space. Â Please have cold kegs and get a bartender that is educated on something other than red bull and vodka drinks. Â You could make a ton of money and have awesome reviews. Â Our area was non smoking...but I swear I could smell cigs from the bar area. Â Maybe I am wrong. Â These awesome guys were singing up on the stage. Â We dug it. Â It was acoustic jams until 8pm. Â This this Dbag kareoke dude got up and blasted out his speakers. Â No one could talk or hear anyone. Â We had kids with us too. Â Which is clearly encouraged here to have...bc they have kids coloring constest all over the entry way. Â A friend of ours went up twice in 5 min to ask him to turn it down. Â Us and only 3 other tables existed in the entire place. Â So seriously. Â The senior citizens, us and the people that were tabbing out...were not getting up to sing with you and put money in your ginormous tip jar. Â Get over yourself dude! Â I did appreciate the heated restrooms, (bc this place is freezing inside and Sid even had on a jacket) and the blinking lights on the drive way to let you know you were in the correct space to turn in. Â This place has tons of potential but YIKES...too much of a drive to go back to just a blah experience.
Review Source:We went to Reds for dinner on a Thursday night as we had a deal saver coupon and decided to check it out. We drove from Keller to Kennedale in rush hour traffic and trust me that is a long drive. Luckily, it was worth the drive as the food was fabulous and the service was impecable! We split the 18oz ribeye and also got a half a rack of ribs and both were cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese, fried okra and fries were all good! My husband loved bread pudding so we ordered it and 3 huge pieces arrived, enough to easily feed 6 people! We had lots of great leftovers and will definitly be returning on a weekend night for some dancing!
