This is the most run-down, dingy Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, and that's saying something. Â The chow mein, chop suey, and all pork items were whited out (with actual physical Wite-Out) from the menu.
That said, however, the chicken curry was good; the sauce was light yet flavourful, and the spice didn't overpower the flavour. Â The rangoon (which comes in threes, not sixes or eights like I'm used to) tasted... odd, like it had sat too long before being fried, or maybe the oil needed to be changed. Â The batter on the sweet-and-sour shrimp was light and fluffy, but also bland, but the sauce was tasty and possibly house-made. Â The service was quick and friendly.
I LOVE this place... Well the food at least... It a little building and frankly the most ugly decorating ever. It's okay though they have very friendly staff! I usually order the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. It's amazing every time! Great menu choices, and very affordable! Lunch specials for $2.50! Although I usually go with the normal lunch menu to fill up, but still under $5.00!
