Stopped at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. We are the only people in the place and they still couldn't cook the food properly. The service was awful and the food was just as bad. Poached eggs were way over cooked. We had ordered appetizers and received no plates, napkins or silverware. This was my last attempt. Three strikes and your out!
Review Source:I came here not knowing what to expect. food was great. service was great. I ordered the French onion soup and a Caesar salad with Shrimp and it was amazing. for dessert, I ordered the dulce de leche crepe. it was perfect, thin with the outer creme brûlée crunch and the perfect amount of Carmel. I would definitely go back

Review Source:I got sick!
My family and I came here a few weeks ago... It was completely empty. Okay, it was Noon'ish on a Sunday. Â Shouldn't be so empty, but whatever...
Everything was alright.. Service was a little slow. Not due to our server, but maybe because they were making "fresh food". I could never imagine being here with a crowd. You'd never get to eat!
This was an expensive lunch! Â Almost $200 for six people!! It was ok, but not great.
Then 3:30am I got sick!! Â I'm talking sick! Â We all had something different at lunch, I had the shrimp! Â Monday was terrible!! Â Went to the doctor Wednesday morning because I was still sick. Three days of missed work, antibiotics, and a doctor bill!
I contacted the restaurant to let them know, because I'd want to know... Â The "manager" couldn't do a thing! Â He kept telling he'd talk to his manager. He called me back, and again had to refer to his manager again again...
Our last conversation ended when he actually offered me a $20 gift card (like I'd go back, ha) and asked me for my medical records!!! Â Nice customer service! Â The more I spoke to this guy, the more angry I became.
Basically, do not waste your money or time!! Â You would be better off trying to make your own at home!
Our party arrived for a late dinner, when the fairly large restaurant had about 2 tables full. So with such little going on, you would think decent service would be manageable. However, our host forgot where he sat the rest of our party (in an odd table in the corner), and our server didn't show until about 15 minutes later, when she then claimed she was acting as host (to the empty restaurant) and bartender (to the empty bar).
Friendly service is always appreciated, as is an effort at excellent service. However, don't try and literally make friends with the patrons, and don't show off your memory skills and then forget the whole tables orders (and blame the manager for distracting you). The night continued with more excuses, highlighted by strange quips and random French accents. She forgot which items the kitchen was out of, someone ended up with watered down espresso because they were out of coffee, and another member of the table got about 10 flakes when she asked for red pepper.
Out of six people ordering, one person's entree and salad came out about 15 minutes before any other food. In fact, that salad got sent back (dressing was asked to be on the side) and a new one came before any other salads. Another salad was completely forgotten about. The food came in generous portions, but seemed to be high on cream/butter/oil and light on flavor. Garlic fries lacked garlic, Chicken Marsala was mostly chicken and mashed potatoes, it wasn't bad it was just boring.
I am surprised more people do not come here for breakfast. Â There are some interesting choices. Â Loving my experience in Belmont Shores made it easy to come here as well. Â I prefer the simple. Â I get eggs, toast and those wonderful potatoes, garlic and all. Â Add some coffee and you're set
Review Source:Horrible experience! Anyone who's planning to check out this place should read this FIRST.
We have found this restaurant from Yelp and thought we would give it a try. We came on a Saturday around noon and it was very quiet. There was a "check in with yelp and you get a free side order" offer so we told the server we had just checked in and asked about the offer. The server named RAUL told us that we would HAVE to order 4 drinks in order to get this free side of fries. Nowhere in the offer does it mention about ordering anything to get this free side, let alone ordering 4 drinks. I don't understand why it's a big deal since its just a side order and usually restaurants would honor it since its clearly written on Yelp. They should just honor it to keep customers happy so we would actually order more stuff or give them a bigger tip.
Next, they messed up on our order as they tried to deliver ONE more entree to our table. We didn't order that extra entree so we told them to send it back immediately; the plate didn't even touch our table. The waiter RAUL had the guts to come to our table and in a very disrespectful manner said "o but just to let you know I did hear you ordering that entree". Wtf?!? Do waiters actually say that to customers?!?! First of all, you messed up on taking orders and now you come and blame it on the customers?
When we were almost done with our food, RAUL suddenly came with the supposedly free fries saying he felt really bad we couldn't get the Yelp offer. What?! We were already planning to get the check at that point but okay we will eat the fries. But guess what?! they messed up on our bill and overcharged like almost $30. Good thing we always double check our bill. We told them to re-do it and the second and third time were still wrong. They finally got the amount correct the forth time.
Seriously, don't come here. If you do, be aware of rude and unprofessional waiters and double check your bill!!!!!!
This is a great local spot and one of my favorite restaurants. Â The food & service is great and the desert crepes are out of this world. On weekends they usually have live jazz. Â They have an outdoor patio for you Cigar and Hookah fans. Â It's very nice to be able to sit out on the patio with a drink and a good cigar.
Review Source:Came here on Mother's Day, an obviously busy day. The servers were crazy busy, the food took way long to come out. But of course: it's a holiday. None of our party of 10 blame the servers or any of the wait staff... but the owners/managers who sat around drinking martinis and eating their food while their customers and staff went hungry were pretty easy to despise. Owners putting their own meals before their customers? Are they that dense?
All of our food took a long time to prepare, but we were all understanding that it will happen on a holiday like this. A couple of our plates took very long to come out (everyone else was finishing their plates, even after trying to wait until all the plates came out). But one plate in particular was missing altogether, taking well over an hour after ordering to get it. And that only happened after interrupting the owner's relaxed martini time to tell him we'd been missing a plate for about an hour. He was not apologetic, but he casually put things in motion.
I ordered a California Omelette, and it came out reasonably on time for how busy it was. It was ok, but it was lukewarm, my fruit was warm all my avocado was brown. I'd rather they just told me they ran out. (Also: I'm wary of any place that sells a side of fruit and only gives you a melon medley. Berries or citrus or something besides melon shows you care.)
When the last plate was delivered, the manager told us we wouldn't be charged for the last plate (if they'd have cared to notice, 3 plates were delivered very late, it's just that one was forgotten altogether) and he would also give us a $10 gift card. We asked if they could just apply the $10 to our bill, he said he couldn't. We were a little taken aback and had to clarify to him that we're never coming back. He didn't say he could do anything about, he just walked away while joking about re-gifting it. Classy! They ended up applying the $10 off the bill, thankfully.
The only highlight was our server, Elenora. She was gracious and obviously doing the best with the resources she had. Thanks Elenora!
On Mother's Day my family and I watched the owner of this establishment drink a martini, nibble on his salad and occasionally talk on his cellphone while his entire staff was struggling to accommodate their customers. Understaffed, underprepared & inconsiderate is the best way to describe our experience. Food came 1 hour & 15 min after we ordered & in 15 min incriminates, then some food never came. The male manager on duty (hardly a manager or a human with proper social skills) was pretty damn insulting & even made crass jokes about our several food items that never arrived.
Our dear server did anything and everything she could while having to wait on 5 parties of 10-20 people by herself with little assistance.
To the owner of this place, you have your priorities all mixed up. Treat your staff better & give them the support they need. They're the ones hustling to make you money, so get off your bum & run some food, refill drinks, greet your customers, bus tables, run checks, expedite food, make cocktails, etc. DO NOT drink a martini at a bar table for the whole restaurant to see. Act like you give a damn.
I have passed by this place a bajillion times and finally tried it a few months ago.
Came on a weekday for my friends birthday and I think we were the only ones in there which scared me a bit lol..
My gf and I ordered a salad, savory crepe, dessert crepe and some alcoholic beverages.
The cesar salad was good. The savory crepe- by now I totally forget which flavor- it was one of the recommendations by my friend and the server. The first few bites were tasty but it was really rich and heavy. It reminded me of a fattening pasta dish. I think between my gf and I, we ate like half. The dessert crepe was also rich and heavy and sweet.. After I ate all the ice cream I didn't want any more. Â And alcohol, well shots, you really can't go wrong there lol :)
Didn't hate the place, didn't love it either.
Terrible service!
We made a 1:15pm reservation on Mother's Day for a party of 5. Â Shortly after our order was taken, a food runner brought over two salads; but it was quite clear that these were not meant for our table. A young, male manager brought us our order of garlic fries and asked if we needed refills. We told him we needed water and another coke, but he never returned. After a while, our server returned and we notified her that a male manager offered to get us refills but never returned. She apologized and sent over her other manager who was a female. She apologized and offered to check on our food as it had been well over 40 minutes since our order was taken. She didn't come back. The table beside us had ordered after us, received their food, ate their food, and paid their bill by this time. The food runner returned with three plates, but again she was at the wrong table. Obviously our server was having trouble with her table numbers.
After we had been waiting for over an hour, we decided to leave. We went to the host stand to see if we could pay for the coke, kid's milk, and garlic fries. The hostess went to get someone for us but no one returned.
We walked out and stood in the parking lot trying to decide where to get some take out since we were starving. The young, male manager came out and told us to pay our bill and said it's theft if we didn't pay. My husband followed him back into the restaurant and told him not to insult us by calling us thieves as we tried to pay but no one came to give us a bill for our two beverages and fries. He demanded to see the owner. The female manager came out and apologized. We basically told her that we waited for over an hour for our food, the service was terrible, the male manager was very offensive and should not be a manager. She insisted that our food was ready and that we take it home free info charge. We declined and left. Â
We have been to the Long Beach location and had a lovely experience. This location has terrible service, terrible managers, and had a less than desirable environment. The indoor temperature was quite warm and they had folding tables and chairs for some of their tables. Ghetto!
I have never been so insulted, or had a more negative experience at a restaurant.
To sum it up, we waited over twenty minutes for drink refills, and ended up having to leave the restaurant without eating after waiting an hour and a half for our food.
To make matters worse, we looked for a manager on our way out to pay for the drinks that we had consumed, but neither we or the hostess could locate one. After waiting for another five minutes for a manager to be sighted, we just walked out.
When we got to our cars, a "manager" ran out and asked us if we had paid our bill. (This is the same manager that came to our table and took our cups away to refill our drinks and never returned). He was unapologetic and spoke to us with total disrespect and did not seem to care about our concerns. Even though this experience had ruined our Mother's day, we went back inside with him to pay for the drinks we had consumed. However, on the way in he made a flippant remark calling us "thieves" for leaving the restaurant without paying. I have never felt so enraged or insulted at a restaurant. I don't know how on earth this guy became a manager.
We immediately asked to speak with the owner who did come and profusely apologize and comp the drinks for us.
We were not the only table waiting a while for our food, which was puzzling because the restaurant was not filled to capacity.
Another gross thing was the one of the plates they put down in front of us at the table that wasn't what we ordered was actually for another table. Unlike most restaurants, they took this plate from our table and served it to someone else. This is gross and unsanitary, and would not be the practice at another more functional restaurant.
Never going back to this restaurant again -- if I want Le Creperie, I'm going to drive the extra 50 miles to Long Beach to avoid this place.
Cozy and cute ambience, all with great food. Paninis, crepes, and GARLIC FRIES that you will not be able to stop eating. Another plus is they've got great service and yummy drinks. Full bar = total win in my book.
The negative reviews are mostly unfair. This place is unique with flavorful food. As you eat, you can definitely tell they spent a lot of time on the menu and cooking. Give it a shot.
Cherry Jubilee's Crepe was Meh. Â Lots and Lots of Cherries, that's the plus side. Â Were they tasty, well, it was just ok. Â So not a bad review by all means, but not one that will make me run out in the middle of the night craving it. Â The place was not too packed, and service was quick. Â Prices were a little high, but it's a big place for just the items that they had. Â I might try again someday.
Review Source:We went here the other day after hearing amazing things about the location in Long Beach. Â Unfortunately, this is just not to par with what I have heard about the other location.
We went in on a Sunday for brunch. The place was not busy whatsoever. Â There were a few couples seated in booths and a party of 5 sitting at a table.
We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. Â I ordered the Stallion Crepe which has a pretty tasty italian sausage. However, the crepe was relatively dry and bland. Â The S.O. got the Southwest Crepe. His tasted a bit better then mine because it had avocado and more flavor.
This was the problem - the extremely long wait for our food given the fact that the place was dead. Â We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which didn't seem right. I went to ask the manager about our wait time and she said that omelets take a long time. Â Funny thing is, we did not order an omelet.
Then, when the manager realized our order she was profusely apologetic and offered us dessert. Our server was also very nice the entire time. Â Either way, the food was not spectacular and the kitchen staff really does have to get their timing down. Â People will be expecting the same quality as Long Beach and will be disappointed with this location.
I am bumping up this review to 3 stars for the manager trying to correct the error. Â However, I don't think it's really worth a visit.
This place is really overpriced for the amount of food they give you. I also don't really get the vibe of the ambiance neither. It's kinda romantic casual, but has a sports bar. Then again, most of the people eating there were families, and not couples. The food was pretty good, but it wasn't worth the price.
And the garlic fries were really bland and unoriginal. Don't really get why people are hyping it up here.
My friend took me to La Creperie Cafe for a lunch date, and it was delicious!
The place has a Bohemian feel to it, not really what I expected from the outside. It was nice though, and the staff was really friendly.
We both wanted something savory and sweet, but my friend didn't think 2 was enough so we ended up ordering 3. I know what you're thinking - what fatties. But she's the fittest person I know! I guess that just leaves me...
For our entrees, I ordered the Parisian (chicken breast, fresh spinach, sweet red peppers and mozzarella in a basil & feta cream sauce ) and she ordered the Zorba (fresh sautéed spinach, feta cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions and kalamata olives in a vegetable broth).
The Parisian was really good! Creamy, but not too heavy and the flavors were delicious. I was surprised at the amount of chicken they gave because usually places skimp on the meat. However, they gave so much I couldn't even finish it.
My friend's Zorba was pretty good too, and it was a lot healthier. The only downside was that it was a bit too salty.
For dessert, we shared the Martinique (bananas flambéed in dark rum with brown sugar in a warm crepe with French vanilla ice cream). It was quite decadent and delicious! I wanted to finish it all, but I was so stuffed I could only take a few bites.
La Creperie Cafe is a great place for some tasty crepes and friendly service!
I am a creature of habit, which generally leads to me not being all that creative when ordering from the menu. Once I find something, I tend to stick with it since I know I'm going to enjoy it. And, let's face it, I'm not going to any restaurant 7 days a week where I'll get sick of whatever the dish is.
I love going to La Creperie for breakfast because of one dish; the Dora's Delight. It's a fairly simple omelette with ham, cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onions served with a side of garlic country potatoes, toast of your choice, and a small cup of fruit. Simple, but oh so tasty. It's my comfort breakfast and I enjoy hitting up this location on the weekends. It's very rarely crowded, so the service you will receive tends to be fairly quick.
They have a decent happy hour as well which includes $3.00 tap beers (Downtown Brown being the best of the lot) and a bar menu with discounted prices on their other fare. Their garlic fries are quite tasty; not too garlicy where your breath will curl paint, and always crispy with four different dipping sauces. They have a few panini sandwiches as well as burgers and the usual. Combined with their large tvs and almost never crowded bar area, it's a pretty nice place to pop in and have a drink with someone and actually carry on a conversation without shouting over the terrible music or getting jostled every five seconds.
I finally was able to ease my fix for crepes!!!!! Long story, short version... I told my cousin how I once had dessert crepes and how amazing they were and that I pretty much was having withdrawals because it's been wayyyyyyy too long. She told me about this place (La Creperie Cafe), she actually went to the one in Long Beach but we discovered the Chino location and tonight was the night.
This place was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I give it 5 stars but if I could borrow the unused stars from some of the other places I've went and written a review, I would give them to La Creperie. We had the full out ensemble.
Appetizer - went with the garlic fries of course. They were D - licious :). They came with dipping sauces chipotle, ranch, and ketchup. I personally am a chipotle fan but they weren't in need of any of the sauces. They were the table and devoured all within a matter of minutes. Not to mention how big they were. Easily could shared among 4. It was 3 in our party but just my cousin and I ate the fries. We didn't need any help anyway.
Main course - I had the Al Mare : jumbo shrimp, sundried and plum tomatoes, wild mushrooms, shallots and mozzarella in a lobster basil cream sauce. Now this was a treat, it deserves it's own page on the menu. The shrimp was in fact jumbo, they must have been working out. The wild mushrooms had me hallucinating that my crepe was being eaten, oh wait... it was. The cheese gave it a little extra umph, you can never go wrong with cheese in my book. But that lobster basil cream sauce... Man I was tempted to use my finger to make sure I got every drop of that sauce, I NEED THAT SAUCE IN MY LIFE!!!!!! Definitely in a class by itself not enough stars to even give this dish.
Our friend had the same dish as me (trying to be like me and ish lol) thus, same results.
My cousin had the Parisian : chicken breast, fresh spinach, sweet red peppers and mozzarella in a basil and feta cream sauce. I did in fact taste this dish, unfortunately it was AFTER I tasted all of life's goodness in the Al Mare but to be fair to the Parisian it was actually fairly tasty and the feta cream sauce was to my liking. I say it was a solid 4 stars.
Now to the dessert (which is what brought about the whole crepe desire in the first place). We had the Napoleon: fresh strawberries, creme brulee custard and a crispy brulee crust. The play by play of how the dessert went. First bite I was saddened, I was looking for strawberries. 2nd bite, what the hell!!!! Still no strawberries, where you little things hiding. 3rd bite, ahhhhhhhhh now that's the taste I've been after!! The strawberries definitely make this dish. If they could overload it with strawberries I'd say 5 stars but I had to go searching so I'm going to have to give it a 4.5
If you love crepes or just want to try something different head over to La Creperie Cafe, my recommendation would obviously be the Al Mare. Enjoy!!!
This is a fun place for Sunday champaign brunch! They give you several different kinds of juice to mix your champaign and create your favorite brunch cocktail (e.g. madras & mimosa). Â The watermelon juice + champaign is amazing.
Huge portions + friendly staff = a great place to share plates of delicious food! No charge to split. I absolutely loved their crepes! Their eggs and potatoes are very well done (not like Dennys or iHop, where they serve something you can cook yourself). As a venue, the place is huge! I feel like we were the only ones echoing in an empty hall. All in all a great experience!
This is a shittiest version a "La Creperie Cafe" I've been to. Â The decor is such a poor cheap attempt at the Bohemian look compared to the two other stores in Long Beach. Â I did loved my waitress Michelle H. who was very good, very cute, sweet and tolerant of me. Â
I asked for a cup of coffee and I got a very weak tasting cup of black water (this was at 2:30pm... F.Y.I... whoever made that pot of coffee). Â So I exchanged it for a double espresso which fixed my problem.
I had the Onion soup and the Escargot and I give them both a "C+" at best. Â I had better at the other stores.
I enjoyed the basic salad the most that came with my Croque Madame I ordered, which was a double-decker yawn fest of a sandwich. Â The garlic fries were good, but the TASTELESS and I mean tasteless Bechamel sauce that came with it was a big joke. It was just as bad as the black water I got. Â I don't know what the fuck the cook was thinking but I guess he doesn't "care".
In short... there was NO LOVE coming from the kitchen at all. Â The Chino store cook didn't give a shit it seemed. Â This was on 12-29-13 at 2:30pm in case someone of importance is reading this and cares about the Chino Creperie. Compared to the others, it's embarrassing.
Went with my mother when they had originally opened. For lunch she ordered pesto dish, and let me tell that thing looked and tasted like a nightmare! I'm surprised a establishment like la creperie could send that out. Pasta was very over cooked and just looked like slop. Should have ran to food-4-less and asked them to heat her a hungry man dinner instead!
But to shine some light, if you order a desert crepe they are good! about the only good thing they serve. Staff are pleasant but we do not think we will be returning.
Maybe they have improved the food since...
The special fixed dinner thing is a rip off... If you tally everything up, you end up saving a couple of bucks. If they did an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert for $25, now that is a deal worth ordering.
Honestly, the portions are big so you just need to share an appetizer, share an entree... so that you can share the dessert!!!!
Carbonara and Romeo & Juliet yum!!!!
My review is wrapped up in a poem :D
Bohemien Groove
Sweet delicious rhapsody
I took my fork and knife
Enjoyed myself a cut of déjà vu
My heart was pressured before
A curry twisted chicken crepe
The memory of all the greatest bites
Specifically crepes were in mind
The grandness of my taste buds conquered
I never knew that such a dish would be in existence
A curry chicken twisted crepe
Aside from that the mood set in tune
Musing my blood pressure down
Such a pleasure upon
This crazy sensation of spices
Yet mixed with sweet tastes
That the yellow lighting around
Enchanted the atmosphere aloud
The extra espresso ordered
Came alive in my mouth as if it were tot
A pounding in my heart
That knocked my joys out of direction
Spiraling gracefully into many contractions
Waves flowing back and forth
Hot steam swaying underneath my nose
So tasty beyond recognition
All my senses alive
My eyes taste along the floor to the ceiling
My ears can smell the wonderful conversations
My mouth sees another treasured bite
The nose peaking only wants to touch
Any resulting felt vapors
That would suffice my hunger
My ears then retract to the surrounding
Music so wonderful I am amused
I feel like I am on a vacation exploring
Pacified yet jumpy and excited
All in all a deacon of confusion
So great in all that the propulsion
Should continue but now
I have finished my last savory bite

My wife and I always enjoy the food when we dine at La Creperie, and this night was no exception. Â The wait staff was prompt and helpful. Â We have never had any issue with the food or service.
The issue we did have this night was with the 'entertainment'. Â There was an older gentleman playing a keyboard, and some small instruments. Â He was also singing. This is where the problem started. Â The gentleman's accent was so sever that it made the music comical and not enjoyable (in addition to being so loud that we had to raise our voices to hear each other!). Â I don't think that the 'entertainment' starts until around 8pm. So, next time we dine at La Creperie we will dine early!
Go for the food, not the entertainment!
Consistently delicious crepes :) this location is usually pretty empty, but people just don't know what they're missing out on! I love the savory Dipollo (my bf usually gets it with ham, but you can also order it with chicken or turkey). Today I wasn't super hungry (I had eaten just before my bf came to visit, haha) so I just ordered the Crepe Vendome from the appetizer menu. SO GOOD! My bf was talking about it hours after we left :) just the right amount of brie flavor (which I know can be overwhelming) and the right amount of sweetness and savory~
My new goal is to try every savory crepe on the menu, haha.
The only thing is the water tastes odd. Order a drink.
Don't be ashamed, darling.
Chino is the new Paris.
Not Hilton, because La Creperie is clean, classy, and has a right to be famous.
AnyObsoletePopCultureReference, Le Creperie Cafe is like a lot of other crepe restaurants (Paris Crepes and Café Crepe on 3rd Street Promenade come to mind) in that you can use your pornographic imagination to concoct practically any combination of ingredients to form a Voltron of crepegasmic gluttony, but there's alcohol here, too (beer and wine), so you can take your doctor's advice and actually eat something before getting wasted.
Score! No wait, this is France (by way of Chino), so Touché!
Another cool thing about La Creperie (other than being near TJ Maxx, where you can buy weird patio furniture at Tijuana or Queens trunksale prices) is that there's a diverse menu beyond crepes (sandwiches, salads, and other stand-alone dishes), and the crepes themselves can be chopped and screwed like a Paul Wall/Mike Jones track for a dirty South breakfast, Manhattanite lunch, or Hollywood dinner.
Don't worry, not even I know what the hell I mean.
Anyway, $50 is enough for you and your date for food, drinks, and tip.
I recommend bringing another $6 for Walmart in case you want to buy groceries for the week.
Oh, one more thing, no one at La Creperie speaks French, but you'll French kiss like a bandit.
I mean, you'll make out like a bandit.
Yes.
I am drunk as I type this.
Okay, Chino Hills has a little something something after all. Â You are on the map, baby! Â It's casual with a well-priced upscale menu ($10-13) -- perfect for a first date or a business lunch, a family outing, or with your BFF's.
La Creperie has a woodsy, pubby feel, with beers on tap, and wines by the glass. Â Featuring signature dishes of crepes, pastas, soups and salads -- it has something for everyone. Â The service was also fantastique! Â From what I gather, they are known for their garlic fries (next time!), and the variety of sweet, savory, and breakfast crepes.
On this day, I tried two (2) items:
--------------------------------------------
1. Â The Southwest breakfast crepe: spicy and good! Â A savory crepe with scrambled eggs, avocado, green chilies, tomatoes, homemade salsa, mozzarella cheese, and sour cream. Â Ole'!
2. Â Chicken Caesar salad, which was really tasty, and so large -- I couldn't finish it all. Â The chicken used was grilled, cut into 5-6 nice chunks, and REAL. Â Very very good. Â (I know, WTH Randy? Â A salad? Â Gotta watch the Yelp 10 pounder that's been forming around my midsection)
For lunch, it's fairly quiet...no waiting at all. Â Other locations in Long Beach and Belmont Shores. Â

-Martinique: Bananas flambéed in dark rum with brown sugar in a warm crepe with French vanilla ice cream. SWEET AND DECADENT. This is actually one of their popular desserts.
The ambiance is casual and on certain nights there's music entertainment provided by a local band. The servers are very friendly and open to explaining about their specials.
A very nice thing that I learned about this place is that you do not need to ask the servers to split the check among your friends. There is a single bill served to the table, in which the orders are split by seat number. Convenient, yes?
I would definitely come here again.
Went here yesterday for lunch with a couple of friends. The restaurant was super dark with more than half of the lights turned off. Also, it was over 100 degrees outside and they didn't have their air conditioning on in this place. It really made my dining experience miserable.
The food is pretty pricey. I ordered a steak sandwich and it came with a garden salad and garlic fries. I tried a bite of my friend's savory crepe but it was way too rich for me. My friend and I split a Romeo & Juliet sweet crepe for dessert. It was good, but still way too heavy for me. Their crepes seem to be too creamy or too sweet for me.
The service was good. Our waters were always filled, but the waitress was a bit inexperienced and kept spilling water all over our table. The manager on duty kept coming around to our table and asking if everything was going alright.
My husband and I drive by this place all the time and always comment about one day trying it. Well that day was this past Sunday and it was a nice change from the typical Dennys or Applebees!
The theme is Parisian and when you walk in, there are cute Parisian decorations throughout.
The space is pretty big.
We went for lunch around 1pm on Sunday and the place wasn't too crowded.
We both ordered breakfast crepes and they were both pretty good.
We also got the flight of beer (4 tastings for $11) so that was fun as well.
I definitely recommend the garlic fries because those were AMAZING and gone in 60 seconds.
By the time we finished our meals and beer, we were too full to try a dessert crepe :(
We will probably go back to try one though!
Don't get me wrong, the food here is AMAZING! Expensive, but worth it. Â
The service was pretty good as well, it is the policy that I had a problem with. Â I came here with a large party and was pleased to see that they had a 4 course dinner for 2 deal that looked great. I am pretty indecisive, so narrowing down the menu was awesome for me. Â My boyfriend liked it too, but when the server came around she said that, even though we were paying separately, the deal was not available to us because there were a lot of people in the dining room. Â She said that they never allow it when the restaurant gets crowded...even though there were no restrictions on the menu...
We asked to speak to a manager, and the owner popped by. Â She was VERY rude and said that sometimes they just don't allow it because four courses take longer to cook. Â Ridiculous!
If we hadn't been with my friends, I would have left.
She even scoffed when I told her she should make a note about asking a server for availability...she said, "we don't really need that, I decide when it can't be done."
RUDE.
