I switched dance studios a few years ago and I could not have made a better choice. I was lost when I left my previous studio and I never felt like I would be happy anywhere else but I loved salsa dancing so much that I took the commute up 95 to La Luna and found my new home. Â I travel an hour each way to get there about 3-4X per week but it is worth it. Â La Luna also has a large variety of great instructors to chose from as well as a variety of dance classes (salsa, bachata, cha-cha, ballroom).
Review Source:Great studio, with some really awesome instructors. Â A ton of classes to choose from so it's really easy to work into my schedule, plus with back-to-back classes at night I usually do 2 or 3 in a row. The instructors Noel, Jose, Loretta, Raul, Amber, and Sonya all got their own little style so you get a nice range of Salsa, Bachata and teaching technique. Some people like Noel, some Jose, some Sonya, but the point is you got a nice choice. Whatever the level, the classes are always pretty fun and a good way to relax and learn how to dance. There is also free parking. I recommend.
Review Source:Took salsa lessons for six months. Â If you're a young cute girl in the guy teachers' classes you'll get lots of attention. Â The owner really encourages everyone despite their age or abilities, she's awesome. Â In Noel's class everyone spoke Spanish but me so most of the class was laughing and joking in spanish, left me out completely. Â Jose just wanted to play baseball and was clearly unhappy in class. Â HUGE push to sign up for blocks of classes so that you're locked in. Â Thank goodness I'm free of it now, what a misery.
