Enjoyed it very much.  We were there on a Saturday and went about 5:45-6 pm, with a reservation.  There was no wait and the restaurant was about 1/2 full.   By 7pm we noticed that people without reservations were turned away and some with reservations had to wait. However, the food is excellent, large servings.  My husband and I thought next time we might consider sharing.  The service was also top notch.

I was there on Friday night and sat outside. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a live band. They weren't great but enjoyable, not too loud, you could still carry on a conversation. I was dissatisfied with the service. We had to wait about 15 minutes even to get a glass of water. Martini menu was also a pleasant surprise. The server and owners were very kind, but service was very slow. The lettuce was wilted, and seemed to be bagged lettuce rather than fresh cut which is what I would expect. Overall a good experience despite having to wait for water and drinks.

This place gets props for being in a cozy home-like setting and very attentive, but not overbearing service.
The food is good... I have lasagna, manicotti, and fettuccine alfredo chef's combo. I enjoyed all three. The alfredo had too much sauce, though.
The Caesar salad was passable. It used pre-shredded cheese which is horrible... but the waiter added fresh shredded cheese and made it more palletable.
    Overall a cool place.

Skip Olive Garden and eat at La Trattoria instead.  It's my favorite restaurant on the southside and has the best Italian in Indianapolis, in my opinion.  It's definitely more of an adult restaurant -- quiet, dim lighting -- which I appreciate, although kids are welcome. Service has always been excellent and we've never had to wait.

If you do visit, try the ravioli (any kind) with the vodka sauce -- but only if you like your pasta sauce a bit spicier.

I love this little Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service has always been excellent. It's expensive but justifiably so.

I recommend a reservation if you're dining on the weekend and there's more than 2 people in your party. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic but it's still family friendly.

Steak here is to die for!  So yummy!  It's a little pricey so we don't go often, but it is delicious!

Adorable ambiance, very cozy and romantic. My baked lasagna was too cheesy and didn't love their tomato sauce but steaks were excellent as well as their service

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here back in July and I have to say, we loved it!!! We ordered steak and it was the best steak we have ever had! Our 21/2 yr old son was with us and he enjoyed the bread they give you before your meal, as did we, that bread was addicting! Sure the price of the steak's are high, but who cares? It's AWESOME steak! For any occasion or you just want a great steak, you should give this place a try!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Spectacular food. Their steaks are amazing, you can cut them with a fork, but expect to pay at least $25 a plate.

The look of this restaurant has completely changed from the pic here on Yelp.  A fire last year took the restaurant out of commission for about eight months, and when they remodeled, they expanded a bit and assumed a sleek, creamed coffee interior that is very fashionable at the moment.  The place offers homey Italian comfort food--and steaks, which I hear are excellent but that is definitely not my style, so I leave it to their deservedly celebrated vodka sauce.  It's only used on a few items, but you can easily substitute and I strongly recommend it.  Just the right delay before you get a gentle kick from it.  Salad starter is perfectly decent with an unusual finely sliced toasted Italian garlic bread--a subtle but likable touch.  The cannoli had the right blend of richness to the ricotta and a light pastry with a vaguely graham cracker taste--perhaps not authentic but appealing nonetheless.

Foodwise, I'd give the place four stars, but I have to downgrade it a notch because I'm not sure I'm a fan of the remodeling.  The place is more popular than ever, but it's frustratingly noisy with the tile floor, and the feeling of a quaint cottage in Olde Greenwoode (I'm sure they add the E's in some marketing campaign) is almost lost on the place.  It's trying a bit hard to be trendy, and the positioning of the tables is nothing short of bizarre--some deuces are shoved in a corner interrupted from the main path where the servers/hosts would walk from the entrance to the kitchen!  The designer clearly could have taken studied some feng shui.

Great restaurant on the southside of Indy (Greenwood)! Recently visited out on a double date was nicely surprised by the great food, the cozy atmosphere, and the friendly service. The restaurant is in a converted victorian style house (probably one of the original houses built in Greenwood when it first started). There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating...and it is so wonderfully Italian....and romantic...right down to the little oil burners on each table gracefully lighting up the table. Not to mention the food. My husband and I enjoyed an Italian Meatball sandwich, a side of spaghetti and an appetizer called Focaccia...Italian flatbread rolled with special garlic butter and spices which we highly recommend. Everything was soo decilious and such large portions! My husband and I split the Italian Meatball Sandwich and were full before we even got to the side of spaghetti. We also enjoyed the Chocolate Decadent dessert that came with Spumoni Icecream...such a great ending to a great meal. Lovely!
