I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while. Â So a few weeks ago a coworker and I went at lunch time, and were surprised to find they were booked solid. Â Ladies were spilling out the door and we found out you have to have reservations to get a seat at this Greenwood tea room. Â So, we left and ate somewhere else that day.
A week later my Mom had a meeting in Greenwood and we agreed to meet for lunch. Â I called ahead to make reservations, and we were seated right away once we arrived. Â We had an excellent server who let us know that the quiche of the day was either asparagus or spinach. Â We each ordered that along with a pomegranate ice tea. Â It was terrific! Â Not only was the mini-quiche delicious, but it was beautifully plated with a small side salad with an excellent vinaigrette and topped with an array of nuts. Â Also on the plate was a cup of fruit salad and a small scone. Â All this for 9.95 each +tax and drinks. Â The food was terrific!
I did make reservations for that coworker and I to go back. Â I had the quiche again, while she tried a fancy grilled cheese sandwich. Â It was still great, and I plan to go back as often as I can. Â Greenwood is lucky to have such a quaint little restaurant right downtown.
