Tasty vegan burger, it's crispy. And who doesn't like curly fries? The bar holds most of the charm for this place as most of the bartenders seemed grumpy cats.

    Decent jukebox selections being played.

Try the Pyramid apricot beer. You're welcome.

A couple of months ago the long celebrated era of $2 pints on pint nights came to an end with the price increasing to $3 pints on those nights. I still like the place but I have to wonder if business has now changed a bit from a packed college student bar to more of a laid back tavern. For me, that isn't a bad thing.

The beer selection is very good for most people, but they have months often where the selection doesn't change enough for those of us that are here 2-3 times a week. Also a beer snob friend of mine doesn't approve of how they run their taps but I've always found the beer quality more than adequate. The food is decent but even the specials still seem pricey as mostly everything on the menu is roughly 10 bucks.

Best draft beer and chicken wings you'll ever have.  This is where the local Durango-ites come for good beer and food. The have about 36 beers on tap and a wonderful menu of food. Nachos, chicken wings, Philly Cheese, dumplings, fish and chips, gumbo, salad, EVERYTHING on the menu is good. The waitstaff is friendly and fun. My favorite place in Durango even though it's in a basement.

Lady Falconburghs's Barley Exchange must have traded all the good food for good beer.  The place is nice and the waitress was great but the food was nothing to yelp about.

I was in Durango for a short stay (a stay that involved many different bars) and I can say with confidence that Falco's was my friend and I's favorite bar of the night.
I am a fan of the square bar...it was great for people watching and seemed to invite starting up random conversations with perfect strangers...which we did throughout the night.
The two servers that night were friendly and warm without being overly attentive, which is my preference.
The jukebox was pumping out excellent music all night.  I think the range went from Pink Floyd to Sublime to Prince to other awesomeness.

We didn't eat, so keep in mind that my rating is solely for drinking and atmosphere.  But as far as bars go...I dig it.
Apparently there is also a $2 pint night...um yes please!!

Yes, it does have a lot of beer to choose from--but do not come here expecting to choose from a large number of Colorado beers.  This was  disappointing because 85% of what they served are easy to find in my hometown.  Another negative was the Guiness they served was obviously from the end of the barrel---don't they occasionally taste what they are serving to ensure it should be?

Quite possibly one of my favorite bars, ever.  I'd go here with friends and enjoy an extensive variety of beer.  My first experience with "Das Boot" was at Lady Falconburgh's.  I liked how they gave us a Das Boot Rule Sheet (laminated, of course, in case you are clumsy and spill) explaining the traditional rules for pounding down the huge glass boot of golden deliciousness.

Their food is great, too!  Not your typical bar food... no... actual yummy food that you WANT to eat.

    The staff is great.

Oh, one really cool thing - if you try X number of beers, you can have your name painted on the wall on a certain brick.  Very nifty.

The only *bad* thing... eeek... if you're bar hopping, you might want to avoid Lady Falchonburgh's - there is a staircase going down into the bar.  Clumsy drunk people might take a spill :(

Give them a shot!  They'll give you a shot :)  hahaha.

I went here and was walking in n the bouncer grabbed my jacket n pulled me back. Also he was dressed in regular clothes n did not know he was a bouncer. He then demanded to see my is. Mind u, I showed him n told him he could have just asked me n I would have shown him. I complained to the manager n all I got was two free beer tokens, I would have rather him give me a sorry. Even after I complained he still was self righteous n didn't think he did anything wrong.

Falcs Rocks! sorry not just a "seedy college hangout place." Its a great spot to grab a drink after a festival on main ave or just in the afternoon to watch a game. Theres over 100 beers there, and a wrap around bar so you can usually find a spot at the bar to sit at. Lots of seating though and big long tables for groups! I love going to falcs and getting a bloody mary because they put Guinness in their Bloodys. Super friendly bartenders, great jukebox, and its underground so its like a secret lil bar bliss hideaway. The Durango Turkey sandwich is delish as well as the philly!!!

If you are going with your family though, dont go on Pint Night!!!! definitely crowded with college kids but a great place to mingle and meet locals!

Great place to hang out after a long day at work. Go in for pint nights on Monday's and Thursday's. Almost all beers on tap are $3. Can get a little crowded with the younger, noisy college crowd but other than that, it's super fun!

Yet another place where I spent many an hour and dollar when I was in college...two weeks ago when my wife and I made the trek back to Durango after 6 years of being away, we hit up Falc's for lunch. My wife had the Penne, and I had the Grilled Cheese with Pepper Jack. Normally, I would have gotten the Durango Turkey (what used to be my favorite sandwich ever) but in the 6 years since I was last here, I decided to become a vegetarian. We also got the green chili cheese fries which were a highlight. Both entrees were good, and the food quality seems to have maintained over the past 6 years despite having changed owners.
The reason Lady F's rocks though is the beer. I credit this place for having much to do with my love of good beer. They have a ton of beer on tap, and a pretty massive bottle selection noting the size of Durango. I chose to have a Ska Pinstripe and a Ska True Blond. Both were very fresh and tasty. My wife had a Pyramid Apricot (as this is where she first had one) and a Ska True Blond.
As with many places in Durango, if you eat and drink you are going to through down around $20 a person (at the very least). However, it is worth it, especially if you hit up the specials on the different days.

The Durango folk seems to love this place. But Durango folks that frequences its abundant nightlife is mostly poor students, and so it is no wonder that this place, with not one, but two pint nights in a week, will be the darling of the regulars.

Not so for me. Lady Falc's, as they call it here, lacks personality, style and ambiance. It is ridiculously located in the basement-atrium of an office building. It's square bar is smack in the middle of the floor, and barstaff is overworked. At least, whenever I come there, it takes forever to get a beer, and no, you do not get a smile with it.

There are long tables a-la German biergarten, so it's probably OK for large groups. But if you just come here by yourself or are on a date, this is one of the worst places in Durango. On pint nights (Monday and Thursday), it's overcrowded, so much so that only the cash-strapped students would indulge in the 10-15 minutes wait for a beer. On all other nights, it is rightfully empty, as there is absolutely no reason to come here on those regular nights. Even the stalwart locals seem to realize that.

After my friends and I had been wandering downtown, we stopped in here for a beer and a snack.  It was laid back and chilled out.  I had a Pyramid Apricot beer, ON TAP!  I love that beer and it is so nice to find it on tap.  My friends and I split a small order of chili cheese fries which were very tasty.  Service was decent, but it was nothing outstanding.  Not much more to say about this one besides it was a nice stop in the middle of a hot day and I'd be happy to return another time I'm in town.

Always appreciate when a place has a pub vibe but stocks the bar with other beverage options aside from beer. Had a super tasty (and strong! the night ended with me drunkenly stumbling around a candy store...wait, it would've ended that way with me sober. I digress) Strongbough cider with dinner and was happy as a clam.

Food was ok, nothing too special but not horrible. Folks definitely come here more for the atmosphere and the beer.

Go here to drink, not to eat. The food was meh. Pretty decent beer selection on tap. Mostly college kids the night we were there so if you're looking to stay warm and be around a loud crowd this would be a good place.

No idea what the food tastes like because I was there for the beer.  Huge beer selection and the day I was there they had cans of Ska Brewing for $3. That's worth 4 stars to me.

Stopped here during a mini pub crawl while in Durango for a few days on business.  Best spot of the night...lots of music, good looking ladies, and free flowing alcohol.  Sat at a table with the rest of my group, and just took in the whole scene of dudes trying to pick up on the various hotties (ladies: are we really that lame with our bar pick-up lines?), said hotties getting drunk, and everyone just having a good time.  Soooo wanted to get up and get my party on, but kinda awkward to do so with some of my co-workers around.  Definitely have to come back if I get to Durango again.

The food here is rough.   My green chili cheesburer was Flavorless with a capital F and was accompanied by crappy fries to boot.  The Guiness barbeque brisket was hum drum beef with lifeless sauce thrust upon it.  As far as I'm concerned, they're a gnat's ass away from being dammed to that special ring of hell reserved for restaurants that serve food this bad.  The only thing and I mean the absolute only thing earning them a sliver of a second star is that they had 20 beers on tap and I was able to procure a pitcher of Fat Tire for a mere $9.

Good beer selection. Decent but uninspired food. Drop in for $2 pints on Monday evenings. Gumbo is OK as well. I usually go once a week.

Excellent selection of beers. Solid food. Not a big fan of the square bar with pillars...kind of blocks you from being able to socialize. Decent jukebox.

the spinach artichoke dip is kinda bland, but the fish-n-chips are totally worth the trip. lots of beer on tap, which is always a good thing.

My favorite spot in Durango for sure... They have this big jar with a tap on the side and it's filled with some sort of liquor and a bunch of different kinds of fruit. From what I recall, it was pretty expensive, but it only took 2 or 3 shots for me to somehow missplace hours of my life.

This was my Cheers!  Yet another recipient of my meager college funds, Falc's has treated me well.
