I love coming here to play pool. Â The staff is very nice and the bartenders make good drinks. Â The guys that are what I assume to be security or crowd maintenance are good too. Â Had an incident with a guy really drunk getting loud and in my face and they took care of him very quickly and made sure he wasn't given any more drinks. Â It's good to know they take care of their customers.
The pool tables and equipment are clean and taken care of. Â No rips in the tables or pool balls with divots or any of that. Â There are dart boards and a big juke box and lots of televisions to watch sports games. Â The televisions could use upgrading but they do the trick. Â Prices for tables are reasonable and so are drink prices. Â There is a nice deck area outside to smoke but I don't think you can drink out there.
This place is fun and laid back and a good place to hang out with friends.
Pool tables, dart boards, juke box and bar.... so yeah you pretty much get the picture. Â This is a good place to hang out with a group of friends and associates. Â The decor is a little tired, but it gives it a nice dive feeling. Â The bartenders are friendly. Â Bar food is in abundance. Â So go if you feel like hanging out, chilling playing some pool. Â Legends covers these bases very well.
Review Source:The place doesn't deserve a 5, but it deserves a 4. They have a decent selection of beer. The cider selection is limited, but that's fine. The pool tables are nice and big, the cues are well maintained, the darts are good (though the boards could do for some replacing...). All in all, I had a great time. If you're looking for some pool, some darts, or just a pub night out, this is probably my favorite place in Portsmouth. Coat of Arms is just right next door, and it's also really nice.
Review Source:It's not that there is anything wrong with legends, just nothing particularly great.
It is one of the few bar type areas that will allow under 21s to be present in New Hampshire, so that could be a plus or a minus depending. Â Drinks are OK, and the pool is decent. Â If you want to drink without sitting at a bar, it might as well be here.
A nice spot to go and relax, shoot pool, play darts, drink, etc. The only qualm I have about Legends is they don't serve pitchers of beer... what gives?? The music is a juke-box so you are always at the mercy of whatever someone puts on, which can be kind of loud, especially if you are playing pool.
Review Source:i wasn't expecting to have such a good time here. but it turned out to be really fun. the tables and sticks are really well-maintained and the drinks are enormous. prices are good too-- 4 drinks and an hour or two of pool for 2 was $40 (not to mention my 2 jack and cokes were served in pint glasses). music was a combo of 90's rock, country, and metal. i didn't understand it either...
definitely a much more interesting way to spend the night than hanging out in a dingy bar
